How long does it take to replenish the kidneys

For some patients with kidney deficiency or renal insufficiency, they all hope to recover their health as soon as possible. But everyone also knows that after a problem occurs with an organ, it takes some time to recover to a healthy state. So, how long does it take to replenish the kidneys? This depends on what method of kidney tonification you adopt. If it is treated with Chinese medicine, then three months will be enough.

Kidney tonification, a term in traditional Chinese medicine, refers to changing the state of kidney deficiency through diet, medicine, exercise, qigong, acupuncture, massage and other means. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that kidney deficiency is divided into kidney yin deficiency and kidney yang deficiency, and different diagnosis and treatment should be done according to different symptoms.

Traditional Chinese medicine theory believes that the kidney is the "innate foundation" and the "source of life." Its physiological functions are to store essence, control water, absorb air, control bones, and produce marrow. It has a great relationship with human bones, blood, skin, and even teeth and ears. "Kidney deficiency" is divided into "kidney yin deficiency" and "kidney yang deficiency".

1. Kidney Yin Deficiency

"Kidney Yin" is also called "true Yin", "original Yin" and "kidney water", which refers to the Yin essence of the kidneys. Kidney Yin has the function of nourishing the internal organs and is the basis of the human body's Yin fluid. "Jing Yue Quan Shu" states: "The Yin Qi of the five internal organs cannot be nourished without this." The symptoms of kidney Yin deficiency are: heat in the five hearts, dry mouth and tongue, poor sleep, red tongue, little tongue coating, and a thin and rapid pulse.

2. Kidney Yang Deficiency

Kidney Yang is also called "true Yang", "original Yang" and "fire of the life gate". Refers to the yang energy of the kidneys. Kidney Yang has the function of warming and nourishing the internal organs and is the foundation of the body's Yang energy. Kidney Yang and Kidney Yin are interdependent, and the two combine to maintain the body's physiological functions and life activities. The symptoms of kidney yang deficiency are: cold limbs, fear of cold, pale complexion, impotence, premature ejaculation, lack of energy, pale tongue, thin tongue coating, slow pulse, etc.
