What are the advanced symptoms of localized endometrial cancer? There are these 6 symptoms

The most typical symptom of localized endometrial cancer in the late stage is progressive pain in the uterus and surrounding areas. In addition, some patients will have irregular bleeding accompanied by rotten meat-like tissue. Many patients will feel a mass in the abdomen and ovaries, and there will be tenderness in the affected limbs. When the fallopian tubes are compressed, systemic symptoms such as hydronephrosis and cachexia will also occur. Finally, metastasis to the brain and lungs will also have corresponding manifestations.

As the name implies, localized endometrial cancer means that the primary lesion of the cancer develops only in the endometrium and does not exist in other parts. As an epithelial malignant tumor disease, this disease mostly occurs in menopausal or perimenopausal women. According to the degree of disease progression, it is also divided into stage I, stage II, stage III and stage IV. The later the stage, the worse the prognosis. So what are the late symptoms of localized endometrial cancer?
1. Uterine pain
When the disease develops to the late stage, the most typical symptom is uterine pain, which is mainly caused by the invasion of the uterus by the growing tumor, causing strong contraction of the uterine smooth muscle. In addition, cancer may also cause discharge and bleeding. If the amount of discharge and bleeding is too much and causes congestion, it will also stimulate irregular contraction of the uterus, resulting in paroxysmal pain.
2. Radiating pain
If cancerous tissue invades the tissues around the uterus, such as the bladder, rectum, etc., it may also cause persistent and progressive pain in the surrounding tissues. If the tumor compresses the pelvic and lumbosacral nerves, radiating pain will also occur from the lumbosacral region and lower abdomen to the knees or thighs and other lower limbs.
3. Uterine bleeding
Localized endometrial cancer may also cause irregular vaginal bleeding, but usually there is no contact bleeding, and it is spontaneous bleeding of small or moderate amounts. Unlike the early and middle stages, the bleeding of late stage patients is mixed with rotten meat-like tissue.
4. Abdominal mass
As the tumor grows further, many patients in the advanced stage can notice an obvious enlargement of the lower abdomen and can also feel a mass in the lower abdomen. When the tumor metastasizes to the ovaries, a mass can be felt in the pelvic area. If the tumor is close to the surrounding tissues, it can also cause varying degrees of swelling and pain in the lower limb on that side.
5. Compression symptoms
In the late stage of the disease, the tumor is likely to cause compression on the surrounding organs. For example, if the fallopian tube is compressed, it may cause hydronephrosis and renal atrophy. After that, the patient will also experience severe systemic failure such as anemia, fever, and cachexia.
6. Metastasis symptoms
If cancer cells metastasize to the lungs, symptoms such as coughing up blood and severe coughing will appear; if they metastasize to the brain, symptoms such as dizziness and headache will occur.
