What are the symptoms of fibroids?

What are the symptoms of fibroids? I believe that many patients want to know the answer to this question, because knowing this will prevent them from being cheated of money by some irregular hospital examination items, and avoid unnecessary mistakes. So let's talk about this issue and see what are the symptoms of fibroids?

What are the symptoms of fibroids?

Symptoms of fibroids include: they are hard and have a movable base, but are connected to the epidermis. The surface of the skin is smooth or rough, and the color can be normal, yellow-brown, dark brown, or light red. They are more common in middle-aged adults and rarely in children. They are usually round or oval papules or nodules, about 1 cm in diameter, usually no more than 2 cm, and occasionally 2 cm or larger.

Symptoms of fibroids are small flesh-colored to dark brown pinhead-sized and larger sessile and pedunculated papillomas, often occurring on the neck, often associated with small seborrheic keratoses. They are also common in the axillae, eyelids, and less commonly on the trunk and groin. Some pedunculated soft fibroids are teardrop-shaped and feel like small sacs. Occasionally, they may become inflamed, tender, or even necrotic due to distortion of the pedicles. The number often increases with weight gain or during pregnancy. The incidence of this disease seems to be higher in patients with colon polyps. In the past, the disease was often reported as perianal soft warts or skin folds.

The fibroid mass grows slowly and generally has no other symptoms. The surface of the fibroid is normal, and a smooth, movable, round mass can be felt under the skin. It is painless, has clear boundaries, and is hard. Fibroma is composed of well-differentiated subcutaneous connective tissue and is more common in adults aged 40-50. The tumor grows slowly and generally stops growing after it develops to a certain extent. It is a benign tumor and rarely becomes malignant. The treatment is mainly surgical resection.

These are the symptoms of fibroids. People with the above symptoms must go to a regular hospital for examination and treatment in time to avoid worsening of the condition.
