Cholangiocarcinoma can be divided into three types: hilar cholangiocarcinoma or upper cholangiocarcinoma, middle cholangiocarcinoma, and lower cholangiocarcinoma.

1. Maintain a happy mental state, develop good eating habits, avoid spicy food, eat less greasy food, and do not drink strong alcohol.

2. For people over 40 years old, especially women, regular B-ultrasound examinations should be performed. If cholecystitis, gallstones or polyps are found, follow-up examinations should be conducted and treatment should be initiated as soon as possible if any changes are found in the condition.

3. Before actively treating cancerous lesions, the factors that may cause cancer should be eliminated sooner or later.

4. Try to reduce the intake of fat, especially animal fat. For bile duct cancer, pay attention to not eating fatty meat or fried food, and replace animal oil with vegetable oil as much as possible.

5. Develop good exercise habits and exercise regularly. You can jog or do some other simple exercises every day, do some labor within your ability, and maintain a normal weight. You must maintain normal and healthy sexual intercourse, and try to postpone the age of sexual intercourse as much as possible, so as to effectively avoid the occurrence of bile duct cancer.

6. The environment you live in should be ventilated regularly, especially the kitchen and bathroom, which must be well ventilated. Do not smoke or drink alcohol, especially strong alcohol or beverages containing alcohol, because tobacco and alcohol are very harmful to the human body. Do not take drugs, and do not develop the habit of chewing tobacco or betel nuts, as this will cause the body to be invaded by bacteria.
