What should I pay attention to after ovarian tumor surgery

Now many female patients do not know when and why they found that their private parts increased. They felt wet wherever they went, especially when they were working. They had to change pads every half an hour, which made them very depressed. They saw that everyone was busy with work, but they were running to the toilet. The pain in their lower abdomen became more and more frequent, accompanied by nausea and fever. They went to the hospital for a check-up and were told that they had ovarian tumors. So what should be paid attention to in the care of ovarian tumors?

1. Reasonable diet care. Disease and chemotherapy often cause malnutrition in patients with ovarian tumors. The nursing method for ovarian tumors is to encourage patients with ovarian tumors to eat foods that are comprehensive in nutrients, rich in protein and vitamins. If necessary, intravenous supplementation of high-nutrient solution and component blood transfusion can be performed to ensure the treatment effect.

2. Strengthen preventive care. In daily life, try to avoid high-cholesterol diet; women over 30 years old should have a gynecological examination once a year. It would be better if they can also have B-ultrasound examination, CA125 and other tests at the same time; high-risk women should take oral contraceptives for prevention; those who find a solid ovarian mass with a diameter of ≥5cm should undergo surgery in time; patients with breast cancer and gastrointestinal tumors should undergo regular gynecological examinations after treatment to determine whether there is ovarian metastasis.

3. Strengthen daily care and follow the routine care for abdominal surgery patients. For patients with huge tumors, sandbags can be prepared to press the abdomen to prevent shock caused by decreased abdominal pressure after surgery. Patients who need to drain ascites should prepare abdominal puncture materials and assist the doctor in completing the operation. During the process of draining ascites, pay attention to observe the patient's reaction, changes in vital signs and the nature of ascites. The speed of draining ascites should not be too fast, and generally no more than 3000ml of water should be drained each time. If adverse reactions occur during the period, report to the doctor in time and assist in handling.

Experts remind that patients with ovarian tumors should eat more foods rich in protein and vitamins, and follow the above-mentioned ovarian tumor care methods to ensure the effectiveness of treatment.
