What are the common examination items for ovarian tumors

Ovarian tumor is a common gynecological tumor. It is recurrent and most patients are women aged 20-50. There are many patients with ovarian tumors in our country. 1. Imaging examination

Ultrasound examination has become an important means of examination in the gynecological disease survey due to its advantages such as simple operation, low price and repeatability. It is also the most commonly used and ideal examination method for ovarian tumors. It can not only accurately detect the location, size and shape of the tumor, but also distinguish whether it is cystic or solid. In addition, it can also make a preliminary judgment on the benign or malignant nature of the tumor. Color Doppler ultrasound scanning can be performed on the basis of B-ultrasound examination to measure the changes in blood flow in the ovaries and tumors, which is helpful for the diagnosis of ovarian tumors and the differentiation of benign and malignant tumors. Generally, malignant ovarian tumors have rich blood supply.

2. Tumor marker test

Tumor markers are protein antigens or bioactive substances produced by abnormal expression of tumor cells. They can be detected in the tissues, blood, body fluids and excrement of tumor patients, which is helpful for tumor diagnosis, differential diagnosis and monitoring. An ideal tumor marker should be abnormal when a tumor occurs, and normal when no tumor occurs. However, there is no ideal tumor marker. At present, the detection of tumor markers is only of reference value, so don't be too nervous when some tumor markers are abnormal.

3. Laparoscopic Exploration

Laparoscopic exploration is not only an effective means of examination but also a treatment for ovarian tumors. For patients with pelvic tumors suspected of ovarian malignancy and patients with non-malignant tumors who have surgical indications, laparoscopic exploration can be performed to confirm the diagnosis.
