What is the age at which gallbladder cancer is most likely to occur

What is the most common age for gallbladder cancer to develop? Gallbladder cancer is a disease that can lead to death. Many people die from this disease, and its harmfulness cannot be ignored. The incidence of gallbladder cancer is very low, and the age of the disease is mostly seen in middle-aged and elderly people. The malignancy is very high. There are many symptoms of gallbladder cancer. If everyone can learn more about the symptoms of the disease, they can detect the disease early and treat it early.

1. Digestive tract symptoms: The vast majority (90%) experience indigestion, aversion to greasy food, belching, and decreased appetite. This is due to gallbladder dysfunction, which cannot digest fat.

2. Right upper abdominal pain: More than 80% of patients have gallstones and therefore present with symptoms similar to those of gallstone cholecystitis, with discomfort in the right upper abdomen followed by persistent dull or dull pain, sometimes accompanied by paroxysmal severe pain radiating to the right shoulder.

3. Right upper abdominal mass: About half of the patients have a mass in the right upper abdomen or upper abdomen, most of which are enlarged gallbladders.

4. Jaundice and skin itching: often appear in the late stage of the disease, due to the invasion of bile duct by cancerous tissue or compression of bile duct by metastatic lymph nodes, causing bile duct obstruction. The bile secreted by the liver cannot be discharged smoothly into the intestine, and then refluxes into the blood, manifesting as yellowing of the skin and mucous membranes, most of which are accompanied by skin itching that is difficult to relieve, especially at night.

5. Fever and weight loss: About 25% of patients experience fever, mostly due to secondary biliary infection. Late-stage patients often experience weight loss and even cachexia.

Although there are many symptoms of gallbladder cancer, this disease can be controlled. To ensure the treatment effect of the disease, patients should actively cooperate with the doctor's treatment. At the same time, a good mentality also plays a key role in the treatment of the disease. Patients must face the disease positively.
