How to prevent esophageal cancer and stomach cancer

Esophageal cancer and gastric cancer have placed an economic burden on many families. Although esophageal cancer and gastric cancer are not incurable diseases, as a type of cancer, the mortality rate of esophageal cancer and gastric cancer is still very high. Prevention of Esophageal Cancer

1. Do not squat to eat. When squatting to eat, the intra-abdominal pressure increases, and the time for food to enter the stomach through the cardia is definitely blocked. The esophagus has to increase peristalsis and pressure to transport the food bolus. The friction between the food and the esophagus aggravates the damage to the esophageal wall and is prone to cancer.

2. Don't eat too fast. If you eat too fast, you will often swallow fish bones, poultry bones, etc. These hard bone spurs will pierce the esophageal wall, and the wound will be difficult to heal temporarily. Over time, it is easy to rot and turn into esophageal cancer.

3. Do not eat hot or overly rough food. The esophagus is the passage for food to go from the mouth to the stomach. Its tube is an elastic structure, and the innermost layer is the mucosal epithelium, which is thin and soft. It is in direct contact with food, and is the most frequent and intimate, so it is easily affected by various stimuli of food.

4. Do not smoke and drink less. Foreign data show that the number of smokers who smoke more than 20 cigarettes a day who die from esophageal cancer is three to four times higher than that of non-smokers. In addition, due to the high ethanol content or other harmful chemicals in alcohol, drinking alcohol can increase the incidence of oral, pharyngeal, larynx, and esophageal cancer caused by smoking by several times or even dozens of times. Therefore, it is recommended not to smoke and drink less.

Prevention of Gastric Cancer

1. Develop good living habits, quit smoking and limit alcohol consumption. The World Health Organization predicts that if people stop smoking, the number of cancer cases in the world will be reduced by 1/3 in 5 years. Secondly, do not drink excessively. Tobacco and alcohol are extremely acidic substances. People who smoke and drink for a long time are very likely to develop an acidic constitution.

2. Do not eat too much salty and spicy food, and do not eat overheated, too cold, expired or spoiled food; the elderly and weak or those with a genetic gene for certain diseases should eat some anti-cancer foods and alkaline foods with high alkaline content as appropriate to maintain a good mental state.

3. Have a good attitude to deal with stress, combine work and rest, and avoid excessive fatigue. It can be seen that stress is an important cause of cancer. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that stress leads to overwork and physical weakness, which in turn causes decreased immune function, endocrine disorders, and metabolic disorders in the body, leading to the deposition of acidic substances in the body; stress can also lead to mental tension, causing qi stagnation, blood stasis, and internal toxic fire.

4. Strengthen physical exercise, improve physical fitness, exercise more in the sun, and sweat more to excrete acidic substances in the body with sweat, avoiding the formation of an acidic constitution.

5. Live a regular life. People with irregular living habits, such as singing karaoke all night, playing mahjong, and staying out all night, will increase the acidification of the body and be prone to cancer. You should develop good living habits to maintain a weak alkaline body and keep various cancer diseases away from you.

6. Do not eat contaminated food, such as contaminated water, crops, poultry, fish eggs, moldy food, etc. Eat some green organic food to prevent diseases from entering the body through the mouth.
