What medicine should be used for the precursors of skin cancer

Skin cancer is a malignant tumor disease. Many people are very scared after being diagnosed with skin cancer. They don't know how they got the disease and how to treat it. Basal cell carcinoma is often asymptomatic at the onset. In the early stage, it is mostly plaque-like papules with hard bases. Some are wart-like protrusions, and then break into ulcers. They are irregular, with raised edges and uneven bottoms, and grow slowly. So what drugs are there to treat skin cancer?

1. Local treatment

The main methods are local external application, local application and local injection. In the early years, 0.5% colchicine ointment was used for local external application of tumors, with good results. In recent years, 5-Fu ointment and bleomycin ointment have also achieved good results.

(1) Bleomycin: Generally, 0.1% or 2% ointment is used, applied 1 to 2 times a day, and generally has no side effects. The ointment can be stored at room temperature for 6 months without decreasing its potency.

(2) Fluorouracil: Generally, 0.5% ointment is used in clinical practice, applied 1 to 2 times a day. It is very effective for superficial basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma in situ.

2. Systemic treatment

(1) Indications: Systemic chemotherapy is required for squamous cell carcinoma that develops on the basis of existing scars, squamous cell carcinoma at the junction of the skin and mucosa, patients with impaired immune function, and those with regional lymph node and distant metastasis.

(2) BLM is more effective for outward-proliferating squamous cell carcinoma. The dosage is 10 mg injected intramuscularly or intravenously, twice a week, with 300-400 mg as a course of treatment.

(3) PEP (petomycin): It is not only sensitive to primary lesions, but also has an efficacy of about 30% for cases with lymph node metastasis. Usage: 5 mg once, 6 times a week, intramuscular injection, stop for 1 day, repeat 5 to 7 times. What is the best medicine for skin cancer?

(4) Combined use of DDP and ADM: The chemotherapy method is intravenous drip of DDP 75mg/m2, combined with hydration, that is, large-scale infusion and diuretics, ADM 50mg + 40ml of injection water are injected within 5 minutes. After a 3-week interval, all patients received adequate chemotherapy, and the remission rate during chemotherapy was 87%.

3. Traditional Chinese medicine treatment

In accordance with the theory of traditional Chinese medicine to guide the treatment of skin cancer, we can consider the patient's overall characteristics, rather than just focusing on the skin cancer lesions themselves. Combining syndrome differentiation with disease differentiation, comprehensive treatment and health care can reduce the patient's pain or the adverse reactions caused by Western medicine radiotherapy and chemotherapy, regulate the overall immune function, and improve long-term efficacy and survival rate. For some patients who are not suitable for surgery or radiotherapy and chemotherapy, Chinese medicine can be used to improve their physical condition, or regain the opportunity for treatment and prolong survival time.

Traditional Chinese medicine treatment of skin cancer starts with the three key aspects of "deficiency", "stasis" and "toxicity" of the pathogenesis, takes a comprehensive approach, adopts the three major countermeasures of "strengthening the body", "dredging" and "removing toxins", and uses targeted and focused medications. It combines strengthening the body, replenishing deficiency, dredging and removing blood stasis, and attacking toxins and removing toxins in a holistic manner according to the patient's specific situation, thereby achieving the fundamental purpose of regulating the balance of yin and yang, qi and blood, and the physiological functions of internal organs in skin cancer patients.

What is the best medicine for skin cancer? Chinese medicine has almost no side effects in treating skin cancer and will not cause harm to the patient's body. We all know that whether it is surgery or radiotherapy and chemotherapy, it will cause harm to the patient's body during the treatment of skin cancer, and even lead to overtreatment and accelerate the progression of the disease. The combination of Chinese medicine during skin cancer surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy can play a role in increasing efficacy and reducing toxicity, ensuring the smooth progress of skin cancer treatment.
