Will liver cancer be passed down to the next generation?

Will liver cancer be passed down to the next generation?

Will liver cancer be passed on to the next generation? Many people know that if you have a sexually transmitted disease, it will be passed on to your children. So, will liver cancer be passed on to your children? Experts point out that according to clinical data, this situation will still occur, so once parents have liver cancer, they should also be careful that their children will suffer from the same disease.

If parents are diagnosed with liver cancer, their children can be the first-level prevention targets, because the vertical transmission of hepatitis B virus can easily lead to a family clustering tendency of liver cancer, not to mention that 85% to 90% of liver cancer patients in my country are from hepatitis B. In particular, mothers who carry hepatitis B virus have a higher chance of developing liver cancer in their offspring.

Therefore, if there is a liver cancer patient in the family, their children should undergo a comprehensive liver examination, such as full liver function test, B-ultrasound, etc., regardless of their physical condition. If they are found to have hepatitis B, they should actively cooperate with the doctor to receive antiviral treatment and liver protection treatment; if they do not have hepatitis B, they should pay great attention to their daily diet and daily life to prevent it from developing into cancer.

Therefore, the children of liver cancer patients should control their "mouth": do not eat moldy foods such as stinky tofu, fermented sauerkraut, and fermented tofu; do not eat sprouted potatoes, etc.; do not eat fried foods, and abstain from alcohol; and do not take medications or health products indiscriminately.

Other studies have shown that liver cancer patients lack the trace element selenium, so selenium deficiency is also one of the factors that induce liver cancer. Children of liver cancer patients can take appropriate selenium supplements, generally 1 tablet of 50 mg, 100 mg a day, but do not take selenium-containing health products at will.

We would also like to remind the children of liver cancer patients that if they suddenly experience unexplained weight loss, pain in the liver area (i.e., under the right ribs), dark circles around the eyes, fatigue and other symptoms, they should go to the hospital in time to check for liver cancer. Especially if the number of black moles on the body suddenly increases, the possibility of liver cancer cannot be ruled out, so everyone should pay attention and observe.

Warm Tips: From here we can understand that liver cancer and heredity are also related to a certain extent, and if the patient has hepatitis B, the disease will be passed on to the next generation. Therefore, for the sake of the next generation, we should pay more attention to the care of the liver, and go to bed before 10 pm to allow the liver to get a better rest.
