8 high-risk groups for breast cancer

In recent years, with the increasing incidence of breast cancer in my country and the popularization of knowledge about breast cancer, more and more female friends have begun to pay attention to breast health and strive to remove themselves from the high-risk group for breast cancer.

There are 8 high-risk groups for breast cancer:

1. There are female first-degree relatives in the family, such as mothers, sisters and daughters, who have had breast cancer;

2. Carrying mutated breast cancer susceptibility genes (BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes);

3. Have a history of breast cancer, ovarian cancer, colon cancer, etc.;

4. Patients with atypical breast hyperplasia;

5. Patients who have undergone more than two breast puncture biopsies and have been confirmed to have benign breast diseases.

6. People who have never given birth or gave birth to their first child after the age of 30 and are not breastfeeding;

7. People whose menarche age is younger than 12 years old or whose menopause age is older than 55 years old, or who become obese after menopause;

8. People who have used contraceptives or estrogen replacement therapy, have habits such as drinking and smoking, and have low levels of activity.

For the above eight high-risk groups for breast cancer, except for a few unchangeable family genetic factors, most of the risk factors can be avoided, such as insisting on breastfeeding, taking a low-calorie, low-fat diet, increasing physical exercise appropriately, maintaining a proper weight, not being addicted to tobacco and alcohol, minimizing the use of contraceptives, not taking estrogen replacement therapy, etc. For some benign breast diseases, follow-up observation is required under the guidance of a doctor, and treatment is given when necessary.
