When you cook wontons at home, how long does it take to cook them?

When cooking wontons, should you start by boiling or adding hot water?

If you want to keep the original flavor of the wontons, use hot water. This way they will cook faster and the wontons will taste great. If you like wonton soup, use slightly cooler water so that the flavor of the wontons can be more fully integrated into the wonton soup. It’s the same principle as cooking meat.

There is a difference between hot and cold, it turns out it doesn’t matter whether it’s on or off.

How many minutes does it take to cook wontons?

Wait for the water to boil first, then add the simmering rice. When the water boils again, wait for a minute or two, then add some cold water, bring it to a boil again, and continue to boil for 4-6 minutes. During this period, you can shake it to prevent it from sticking to the pan and the chaos from sticking together.

Wontons with Sesame Sauce

raw material:

2 pork shanks, 1 chicken rack, frozen wontons, noodles, white wine, salt, onion, ginger, shrimp, ham, rapeseed

practice:

1. After cleaning the pork bones and chicken racks, blanch them twice in boiling water to remove impurities and dirt, and rinse them with clean water;

2. Put the pork bones and chicken racks into a stew pot, add half a pot of water, put in onion, ginger and a little white wine and stew for more than 1 hour, filter out the bone soup and set aside;

3. Bring water to a boil, put the noodles in and cook, then put the wontons in, and remove them after the noodles and wontons are cooked;

4. Put the rapeseed into the pot and blanch it. Add hot water to dilute the concentrated bone soup into noodle soup. Add a little salt, soy sauce and vinegar.

5. Place the noodles, shrimps and ham on the noodles in order, and finally pour in the noodle soup.

Hot and Sour Wontons

raw material:

500g minced pork, 1 egg, 8g salt, 3g sugar, 3g MSG, 15g dried shrimp, 10g green onion, 10g ginger, wonton wrapper, 200g pea seedlings, 20ml balsamic vinegar, 15ml soy sauce, 3g sugar, 3g cooked lard, 3g white pepper, chili oil

practice:

1. Soak the dried shrimps in warm water until soft, leaving the soaking water for later use. Chop the dried shrimps, green onions and ginger into even pieces.

2. Add chopped green onion, ginger, dried shrimp, salt, eggs, sugar and MSG to the pork filling, mix well, and use chopsticks to beat the mixed meat filling in the same direction to make tendons;

3. Take a wonton wrapper and place it on the palm of your hand. Put the appropriate amount of meat filling on 1/3 of the wonton wrapper and wrap it into wontons.

4. After the water in the soup pot boils, put the washed pea sprouts in and blanch them for a few seconds, drain and remove them. At the same time, put balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, white pepper, cooked pork and other seasonings in a bowl to make the sauce for the hot and sour wontons;

5. After the water in the soup pot boils again, put the wontons in. When the wonton skin becomes transparent and soft, it can be removed from the pot. Drain the water slightly, serve in the hot and sour sauce, and drizzle with appropriate amount of chili oil according to your taste.
