Commonly used combined chemotherapy regimens for prostate cancer

Chemotherapy is a commonly used method for treating prostate cancer, among which combined chemotherapy is more effective than single chemotherapy. Currently, the combined chemotherapy regimens commonly used in clinical practice mainly include HHFT regimen, CFG regimen, HH regimen, and DGT regimen.

(1) HHFT scheme

Hydroxyurea: 0.5 g, orally, twice a day, on days 1-2.

5-Fluorouracil: 500 mg, IV, day 3-6.

Thiotepa: 10 mg, IV, days 3-6.

O-acetylated hexane estradiol: 10 mg, orally, on the 3rd to 17th day. One course of treatment is 3 weeks, and the second course is repeated 2-3 weeks later.

(2) CFG scheme

Cyclophosphamide: 400 mg, IV on days 1, 2, 14, and 15.

5-Fluorouracil: 500 mg, intravenous drip on days 3, 4, 14, and 15.

Perchlorazole: 7.5 g per square meter of body surface area per day, intravenous drip for days 1-5. Repeat the medication once every 4-5 weeks.

(3) HH scheme

Hydroxyurea: 3.5-4 g, orally, twice a week.

O-acetylated hexane estradiol: 10 mg, 3 times a day, orally. Take it for 6 weeks as one course of treatment, and rest for 3 weeks before the second course of treatment.

(4) DGT Scheme

Diethylstilbestrol: 22-10 mg, orally, 3 times a day, for 2-3 months.

Piperazole: 7.5 g per square meter of body surface area per day, intravenous drip, day 1-5.

Thiotepa: 10 mg intravenously daily on days 1-7.

One week of medication and two weeks of rest is one course of treatment, and three courses of treatment should be repeated.
