The main function of ovulation test strips is to test women's ovulation status. Of course, ovulation test strips can not only predict ovulation, but also detect whether a woman is pregnant. Generally speaking, in early pregnancy, the ovulation test strip is positive. During the ovulation period, women will also experience certain physical changes. Below, I will introduce you to the relevant knowledge about ovulation test strips and ovulation period. 1. Changes in ovulation test strips in early pregnancy The ovulation test was positive in early pregnancy. After the egg is released from the ovary, it can survive in the fallopian tube for 1-2 days to wait for fertilization; the male's sperm can maintain its fertilization ability in the female's reproductive tract for 2-3 days. To be on the safe side, we call the 5 days before and 4 days after ovulation, together with the ovulation day, a total of 10 days, the ovulation period. Because it is easy to get pregnant through sexual intercourse during the ovulation period, the ovulation period is also called the fertile period or the dangerous period. During the menstrual cycle, the basal body temperature before ovulation is often lower. Normally, the body temperature before getting up in the morning (i.e., basal body temperature) is below 37 degrees, approximately 36.4-36.6 degrees. The body temperature drops slightly during ovulation, and rises by an average of about 0.5 degrees after ovulation, and remains at this level until the onset of menstruation, when it begins to drop. 2. Changes in women's ovulation period 1. Decreased appetite. Most women have poor appetite these days and eat less. 2. Full of energy, during ovulation, women's instinct makes them like to express themselves more. 3. The sexual desire is stronger because these days are the time when pregnancy is possible. 4. The body's resistance will be poor. Abnormal symptoms during ovulation: Increased vaginal discharge during ovulation is normal. Vulvar itching, redness and swelling are symptoms caused by various vulvar diseases. When the itching is severe, patients often become restless, which affects their life and work. 3. Calculation of ovulation period 1. Observe cervical mucus As ovulation approaches, the mucus becomes clear, smooth and elastic, like egg white, with high stringiness and not easy to break. The last day of this mucus ± 48 hours is the ovulation day. Therefore, when the vagina feels moist, it is the ovulation period, also known as the fertile period. 2. Measure your basal body temperature Measure your body temperature every morning after waking up. Generally speaking, your body temperature is lower in the first half of your period, and even lower during the ovulation period, and will gradually rise after ovulation. This method can only indicate that ovulation has occurred, but cannot predict when ovulation will occur. If your menstruation is irregular or your lifestyle is irregular, such as night shifts, business trips, insomnia, mood changes, illness, etc., this method cannot be used to determine whether ovulation has occurred. |
