If a lump appears in the thigh, you must go to the hospital for examination as soon as possible. This can prevent yourself from experiencing symptoms caused by a tumor. In fact, the causes of this condition are very diverse and can occur at any age, so you must find a way to improve it to avoid excessive damage to your body. It is slightly more common in males and can occur at any age, most commonly in middle-aged people, and rarely in children. The tumor appears as a raised, hard mass with multiple nodules on it that are light red or bluish-purple in color. The lesions gradually increase in size and may fuse, sometimes becoming multi-lobed, with a slightly smoother surface and growing slowly. It is usually attached to the overlying epidermis and rarely to deeper tissues. Generally no symptoms. Some patients have mild or moderate pain. Minor trauma may cause ulceration and bleeding. It is usually single and occurs on the trunk, most commonly on the chest, followed by the limbs, but it can occur in any part of the body. The disease can last up to 50 years. In addition to the raised surface, this tumor can also grow invasively and invade the subcutaneous tissue. If the excision is not complete, local recurrence may occur. Although metastasis to the lungs, abdomen, brain, bones or nearby lymph nodes may occur, it is uncommon and only occurs in the late stages, often as a result of multiple local recurrences. The transfer period is 1 to 33 years. Clinically, this disease can be inferred when raised, hard, fibrous lesions appear, grow slowly, and the surface skin atrophies. The diagnosis can be confirmed by finding dense fibroblasts arranged in a wheel-like structure in pathology. This disease should be distinguished from other soft tissue sarcomas that originate deep in the muscle tissue. Usually, tissue sections can be identified, but special staining is required. Ligand-like tumors may originate from and be attached to the deep fascia, with normal skin on the surface. Other fibromatosis tumors that arise from the fascia can usually be distinguished histologically; these tumors have less cellular stroma and lack the typical cartwheel architecture. Occasionally, dermatofibromas may have many cells and may be up to 2 to 3 cm in size, but may have almost no wheel-like appearance and may contain a lot of hemosiderin and phagocytic lipids. Some amelanotic melanomas need to be identified, but they are rare. There are spindle cells forming a wheel-like structure, active junctions, and no reticular fibers and collagen are produced. Fresh tissues can be stained with dopa reaction or S-100 protein immunohistochemistry to help with identification. |
