What causes plum blossom rash

Pityriasis rosea and pityriasis rosacea are two different skin diseases. Both of these skin diseases will cause spots on the patient's skin, and the shape of the spots is generally very similar to the shape of flowers. This skin disease is very easy to recur. After getting pityriasis rosacea, it is likely to occur all over the body, so a medicinal bath treatment can be used. So what causes pityriasis rosacea?

Before the onset of the disease, a few people will have fatigue symptoms similar to those of a cold. In the early stages of the disease, one or two so-called "mom spots" will appear on the body, with a diameter of about 2 to 10 cm, oval or round in shape, and a circle of scales inside. Over time, more and more red or pink patches will appear, but they are smaller in shape and sometimes no debris can be seen on the inside.

These plaques are mainly distributed symmetrically on the neck, the front and back of the trunk, and the proximal ends of the limbs. There are relatively fewer on the distal ends of the limbs, and they rarely occur on the face. The most important observation is that these oval lesions appear to be distributed in a "V" shape on the neck, chest, abdomen, or front of the thigh. The distribution on the back looks like an "eight" shape, resembling a Christmas tree. However, in some atypical cases, pityriasis rosea occurs on the extremities but not on the body, which is called "reverse pityriasis rosea."

In terms of symptoms, 75% of patients will experience mild to moderate itching. But at higher temperatures, such as when sweating a lot or taking a hot shower, the itching sensation becomes more obvious.

Most patients will recover on their own. Generally, the rash will reach its maximum in the first or second week, then gradually decrease and disappear completely in six to eight weeks. Generally, excessive treatment is not necessary, and you can take antihistamines, Banlangen granules, etc. Topical triamcinolone acetonide urea ointment.

If it is a skin allergy, it is recommended to apply Fuqing acetate borneol ointment or acyclovir ointment for the best effect. You can take some Xiaofeng Zhiyang granules or loratadine for treatment. Do not eat spicy and allergenic foods.

Rose rash is mostly caused by viral infection. It is not contagious and there is no effective prevention method. The purpose of treatment is mainly to shorten the course of the disease.

Suggestions: It is recommended to take antiviral granules orally, cetirizine or loratadine orally, and Aoneng or Eloson externally. The number of tinea corporis is small and the development is slow, while the number of pityriasis rosea is large and the development is fast, so a light diet can be sufficient.
