Things to note before transplanting frozen blastocysts

Before transplanting frozen blastocysts, female friends need to adjust their bodies and the environment in the uterus, and they also need to pay attention to their daily diet and living habits, especially be careful not to catch a cold, otherwise it will affect the effect after transplantation. They also need to keep a happy mood, pay more attention to rest, eat more fresh vegetables and fruits, and try to eat a light diet.

Precautions after frozen embryo transfer

After frozen embryo transplantation, you should pay attention to bed rest and keep a relaxed and happy mood, which is conducive to the smooth implantation and development of the embryo.

1. Do not hold your urine after the transplant: go to the toilet immediately if you feel the urge to urinate. Because the bladder is located in front of the uterus, when there is a lot of urine in the bladder, it will press on the uterus and may cause uterine contractions.

2. Drink more water after the transplant: Because disinfectants cannot be used during the transplant operation to avoid affecting the embryo, the vagina is only fully flushed during the transplant operation, and cannot be disinfected. However, women's urethra is very short and close to the vagina, making it easy for them to get urinary tract infections after surgery. If you drink more water and urinate more often, it will flush the urethra and reduce the chance of urinary tract infection.

3. Rest in bed after transplantation: Generally, you only need to rest in bed for 2-3 hours after transplantation. Older women can also lie down for a while longer. The main purpose of rest is to keep the uterus in a relaxed state after transplantation. Relaxation of the whole body is conducive to the quietness of the uterus. When resting, you don't have to be too particular about your posture. Just lie down in whatever way makes you most relaxed and comfortable. Getting tense is bad for your health.

4. Be careful of constipation: For a period of time after the transplant surgery, the patient will exercise less, and the effects of medications such as progesterone will lead to reduced intestinal activity, making constipation more likely to occur. To prevent constipation, women after transplantation should ensure food intake, because the intestines will be compressed and stimulated by sufficient food, and intestinal peristalsis will increase. In addition, you should eat more foods rich in fiber, such as fruits and vegetables, which will promote intestinal movement and avoid constipation.

5. Prevent colds: Within two weeks after the transplant surgery, avoid going to crowded places with poor air circulation. When the weather changes, add clothes in time to avoid catching a cold.

6. Take medicine and check on time: For a period of time after the transplant surgery, women should take medicine on time as prescribed by the doctor.

7. Confirm pregnancy: If you do not have your period two weeks after embryo transfer, you may be pregnant. You should go to the hospital for a pregnancy test in time to confirm the pregnancy.

Frozen embryo transfer time

The transplantation of frozen embryos should be based on the woman's physiological cycle. If the woman has a regular menstrual cycle, the transplant should be performed within a few days after ovulation; if the woman has an irregular menstrual cycle, drugs should be used to induce ovulation before the transplant.

1. Women with normal menstrual cycle and ovulation

Because only a few days after ovulation does the endometrium have the ability to accept and implant the embryo (usually called the "implantation period"), B-ultrasound monitoring and blood endocrine tests must be performed before the embryo is resuscitated. The embryo can only be resuscitated and transplanted after ovulation symptoms appear and the endometrium develops.

2. Women with irregular menstrual cycles and ovulation disorders

Women with irregular menstrual cycles and ovulation disorders need to use medication to promote the growth of the endometrium and simulate the pregnancy and estrogen status before and after implantation and throughout the early pregnancy process. Patients should start taking estrogen from the early stages of menstruation to promote the development of the endometrium. When the endometrial morphology has reached a certain level, progesterone can be added before the embryo can be resuscitated and transplanted.
