Eating cooked garlic will make you fart

Many people often pass gas because of eating certain vegetables, but the gas has a strong smell and there is a loud noise in the stomach, which makes people feel very embarrassed. In fact, the gas is caused by bloating due to indigestion. There are many general reasons for farting. In the process of swallowing food, food enters the digestive tract with the air, so gas with a smell is produced because it is produced after the food is decomposed.

Farts are produced in three ways: (1) When food is swallowed, air enters the digestive tract; (2) Food in the intestines is fermented by bacteria to produce gases; and (3) Gas in the blood seeps into the intestines.

About 7 to 10 liters of gas enter the intestines every day, but most of it is absorbed by the blood vessels in the intestinal wall, and about 0.5 liters is discharged from the intestine.

Farts are waste gases emitted by the body, mostly carbon dioxide, hydrogen and methane.

Farts are produced because some of the food we eat is not broken down. The undigested parts, including fiber and sugars, become food for E. coli. When E. coli have a full meal, they release gas, which accumulates in the body and creates a pressure. When the pressure is too great, it will be expelled from the body and form a fart.

The amount of farts is related to people’s diet. Some people like to eat onions, ginger, raw garlic, potatoes, sweets, beans and pasta. Since these foods contain matrices that can produce a large amount of hydrogen, carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide and other gases, they often produce a lot of waste gas after eating and fart continuously.

The amount of farts is also related to the strength of a person's digestive function. When you have indigestion, intestinal bacteria ferment quickly, easily producing gas and causing you to fart.

A scientist found that a person farts about 14 times a day. Every day, each person releases about 500 ml of waste gas.

Although farts smell bad, they are a normal physiological need and are good for human health. It is not good for a person's health if he does not fart all day long. People who never fart all year round are very likely to have gastrointestinal problems.

A high-protein diet will produce a lot of hydrogen sulfide (the smell of rotten eggs) when it spoils, so it has a special smell. Generally speaking, the more delicious the food you eat (meat, fried food), the smellier your farts will be. If you eat worse (coarse rice or light rice), the smell will be less. Some people eat too many sweet potatoes and although they still fart, the fart is not too smelly because the fermentation of sugar mainly produces carbon dioxide gas. If you fart a lot and they often have a foul odor, it means that you are eating too much protein and your stomach is burdened too much. You should reduce your diet or immediately switch to a vegetarian diet to prevent gastrointestinal diseases.

Regulate the stomach

1. Wash 1000×1500 grams of fresh lotus root, blanch it in boiling water, and mash it to extract the juice. Take it with boiled water, twice a day; or use 500 grams of fresh lotus root without nodes and 50 grams of ginger, wash and chop them, squeeze out the juice with sterilized gauze, and take it with boiled water.

2. 60 grams of polished rice and 5 grams of Amomum villosum powder. Add polished rice and water to cook into porridge. When it is cooked, add the Amomum villosum powder and boil it for 1 to 2 hours. Take it in the morning and evening.

3. Squeeze the juice of 100 grams of fresh potatoes and 10 grams of ginger, add 30 ml of fresh orange juice and mix well. Put the cup in hot water to warm it, and take 30 ml daily.

4. Grind 750 grams of corn cobs, 6 grams of Phellodendron chinense, and 6 grams of dried ginger into fine powder. Take 3 grams 3 times a day with warm water.

5. Add 3 grams each of green tea and shredded dried ginger, brew with boiling water, cover and simmer for 30 minutes, and drink frequently instead of tea.

6. Stir-fry 60g white lentils and grind them into powder. Dry 60g patchouli leaves and grind them into powder. Mix them into powder. Take 10 grams each time, 4 to 5 times a day, with ginger soup.

7. Wrap 30g of Plantago seeds in gauze, add 500ml of water, boil until 300ml remains, remove the residue, add to rice porridge soup, and take warm in 2 doses.
