Are tumors contagious?

Are tumors contagious?

Once a tumor is formed in certain parts or organs of the body, there is a possibility of malignant transformation, which is also something that people are very worried about. But are tumors contagious? It is not contagious, but I believe everyone already knows that tumors are hereditary, so it is necessary to have physical examinations at certain times, especially after middle age, you should have regular physical examinations.

It is well known that some malignant tumors are hereditary. For example, if a woman's mother or sister is a breast cancer patient, her chance of developing breast cancer is three times that of an average woman. In recent years, scientists have discovered that this is related to the presence of certain transferable oncogenes in the genetic material of their cells. But how do we explain that family members who are not blood related suffer from the same malignant tumor? One possibility is that people who suffer from the same malignant tumor are often exposed to the same carcinogenic factors. It was reported that both the father-in-law and the son-in-law suffered from lung cancer. After investigation, it was learned that the son-in-law took over his father-in-law's job and worked underground in a mining area. The concentration of radon and its gas in the mine was too high. Since they were both exposed to this type of radioactive substances for a long time, they developed lung cancer. In addition, both the father-in-law and the son-in-law were smokers, which undoubtedly made the situation worse and contributed to the formation of malignant tumors.

There is also a case where a couple died of liver cancer. After tracing their medical history, it was found that they had both suffered from hepatitis B for many years. As we all know, hepatitis B is caused by the hepatitis B virus, which can be transmitted through blood or other body fluids, including saliva, semen, and vaginal secretions. If hepatitis B is not cured for a long time, it can cause cirrhosis of the liver, and a small number of patients will eventually develop liver cancer.

What is even more alarming is that regardless of whether men or women have multiple sexual partners, they may put the other party at risk of developing certain malignant tumors. For example, if a man’s first wife has cervical cancer, his second wife’s risk of developing cervical cancer is 3 to 4 times higher than that of ordinary women. Scientists believe that this is related to the possible presence of some virus or carcinogen in the man's semen, which infected the second wife.

To sum up, scientists' answer to whether malignant tumors are contagious is: malignant tumors themselves are not directly contagious because cancer cells do not release infectious factors. However, for AIDS patients with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) in their blood, or for those who have developed liver cancer due to hepatitis B virus infection, it is difficult to absolutely guarantee that their cells will not release hepatitis B virus. As for those who have multiple sexual partners, the possibility of transmission of HIV and viruses related to cervical cancer exists. Therefore, people should have a clear understanding to prevent such viral infections and related malignancies. At the same time, the secretions of patients with such malignant tumors, such as sputum, blood, and feces, should also be disinfected. Secondly, self-immunity is also the key to preventing tumors. You can participate in outdoor exercise to enhance your physical fitness, or you can combine it with Jinxing (RH2) to improve your own immune function and enhance your own disease resistance.
