Why is the tap water white

Water has to be transported through long pipelines from the water plant to the user's home. If there is air in the pipeline, the strong pressure will cause the air to dissolve in the water.

When we turn on the faucet, the pressure is released instantly and the air is discharged in the form of bubbles, but these bubbles are very small and difficult to distinguish with the naked eye. They are tightly arranged together, making us mistakenly think that the water is milky white. In fact, this is just a very simple physical phenomenon.
