2. The hernia belt should not be tied too tightly for the child. In my outpatient clinic, I often find that some parents tie their children too tightly, which causes local skin discoloration, ulceration, etc., and ultimately the hernia is not healed. Instead, we discovered during the operation that severe compression of the spermatic cord leads to testicular hypoplasia, thinning and deformation of the vas deferens, severe adhesion between the hernia sac and the spermatic cord, etc., which makes the operation very difficult.
