The difference between toner and toner

The difference between toner and toner

There are many kinds of skin care products for women, each with its own unique effect. Take the lotions that people often use, for example. There are countless types, including astringent lotion, softening lotion, moisturizing lotion, etc. Many female friends do not understand the differences between these types of lotions. Today, I will tell you the difference between toner and toner. Don't use them wrongly in your daily skin care.

1. What is lotion?

Toner is a general term for skin softener, toner, astringent, moisturizing water, activating water, etc. It refers to the skin care step after facial cleanser and before lotion. They all have the effect of stabilizing the skin and balancing the acidity and alkalinity of the skin. And their respective focuses are different.

1. Toner

It has the function of removing aged cuticles, thus making the skin soft; it is generally weakly alkaline. Contains excellent moisturizing ingredients to make skin moisturized and soft.

2. Toner

It can make the skin refreshed and clean after use. It is a relatively basic toner. Because of this, oily skin types generally prefer to use this type of toner, but when choosing, you need to pay attention to the fact that in addition to feeling refreshing, it must also have the function of replenishing moisture.

3. Astringent water

Tightens pores and controls sebum secretion. Best used only during the day. Some contain powders to absorb excess oil. Because it controls excessive oil secretion, it replenishes moisture while also having a good makeup-holding effect.

2. How to choose lotion for different skin types

Dry skin → Toner

Oily skin → Astringent

Combination skin: Use astringent on the T-zone and softener or toner on other areas

Sensitive skin → Sensitive water, repair water

3. How to use lotion

I believe everyone knows how to use cotton pads to wipe and pat. I won’t say much, let me just talk about how to make it work.

Use toner, paper mask and freezing for "ice therapy" to shrink pores, control oil and prevent blackheads. Find a clean small plate, put a piece of paper film in it, slowly pour in toner (the paper film will slowly expand as it absorbs water), and after the paper film absorbs enough water, put the plate in the refrigerator (3 minutes in the freezer/8 minutes in the refrigerator). When the time is up, take out the plate, unfold the frozen paper mask, put it on your face, note the time, lie down quietly, after 15 minutes, remove the paper mask, and gently pat the toner that has not been absorbed on your face until it is completely absorbed. In winter, the time you put it in the refrigerator can be shortened, or you can simply not put it in the refrigerator at all. If you want to shrink your pores, you must refrigerate it before use regardless of the season!
