My chest hurt after doing parallel bars for a week

In fact, in our lives, we see many old men who are very good at single pole in the park. Some people can even come up with some new tricks. But when we practiced on the parallel bars by ourselves, after a few days, we started to feel pain in our chests. In fact, when practicing on the horizontal bar, your chest will be squeezed sometimes. Many times, excessive exercise can cause physical problems.

What causes chest pain after exercise?

1. Too much exercise.

For many people who are exercising for the first time, even if the amount of exercise is not large, just running a few laps or playing basketball, they may experience chest tightness and pain. However, such symptoms will disappear quickly and will not last long. For people who still feel chest tightness for a long time after exercise, the amount of exercise must be too much. What constitutes excessive exercise? One is time, that is, the exercise time is too long. Originally, playing basketball for more than 20 minutes is enough, but you play for an hour or even longer, then your breathing cannot keep up, and after a long time, your chest will hurt.

2. Pneumothorax.

This cause is more serious. Factors that induce pneumothorax include strenuous exercise, coughing, lifting heavy objects or raising the upper arms, weightlifting, straining to defecate, and blunt force trauma. When coughing violently or straining to defecate, the pressure in the alveoli increases, causing the existing diseased or defective lung tissue to rupture and cause pneumothorax. When using a ventilator, if the air supply pressure is too high, pneumothorax may occur. Among them, primary pneumothorax is the most likely, which refers to pneumothorax that occurs in healthy people in whom routine lung X-ray examinations fail to reveal obvious lesions. It is more common in young people, especially thin and tall men.

3. Transient myocardial ischemia

Myocardial ischemia refers to a pathological condition in which the heart's blood perfusion is reduced, resulting in reduced oxygen supply to the heart, abnormal myocardial energy metabolism, and inability to support the normal functioning of the heart. The blood supply to the heart is not constant, but fluctuates all the time. However, this fluctuation is regulated by the body itself, which keeps the supply and demand of blood relatively constant and ensures the normal functioning of the heart. If myocardial ischemia is caused by any reason and the body's regulation cannot meet the heart's working needs, this constitutes true myocardial ischemia.
