This prescription uses Siwu Decoction to regulate blood and remove blood stasis, and combines peach kernel, safflower, moutan bark, cyperus rotundus, and Corydalis yanhusuo to dredge meridians, activate blood circulation, promote qi flow, and relieve pain. If coughing up blood occurs repeatedly and the blood is dark red, add pollen, lotus root nodes, herbaceous agrimony, Panax notoginseng, and madder root to dispel blood stasis and stop bleeding; if blood stasis turns into heat and secretly damages qi and body fluid, and the patient has dryness of the day and tongue, add Adenophora, Radix Trichosanthis, Radix Rehmanniae, Scrophulariae, Anemarrhena, etc. to clear heat, nourish yin, and promote body fluid; if the patient has poor appetite, fatigue, and shortness of breath, add Astragalus, Codonopsis, and Atractylodes to invigorate qi and strengthen the spleen.

2. Lung cancer - phlegm and dampness in the lungs

Symptoms: cough, sputum, shortness of breath, thick and sticky sputum, white sputum or a mixture of yellow and white sputum, chest tightness and pain, poor appetite and loose bowel movements, fatigue, dark tongue, white and yellow greasy or thick and greasy yellow tongue coating, and a wiry and slippery pulse.

Treatment method: Promote qi and eliminate phlegm, strengthen the spleen and dry dampness.

Prescription: Erchen Decoction combined with Trichosanthes, Xiebai and Pinellia Decoction. Erchen Decoction regulates Qi, dries dampness and resolves phlegm. 3. Lung cancer - Yin deficiency and toxic heat

Symptoms: Cough with no or little sputum, or blood in the sputum, or even continuous hemoptysis, chest pain, restlessness and poor sleep, low-grade fever and night sweats, or severe and prolonged fever, thirst, hard stools, red tongue with thin yellow tongue coating, and thin or rapid pulse.

Treatment method: Nourish yin, clear away heat, detoxify and disperse nodules.

Prescription: Adenophora and Ophiopogon Decoction combined with Wuwei Xiaodu Drink. The prescription uses Adenophora Root, Royal Bamboo Shoot, Ophiopogon japonicus, Licorice, Mulberry Leaf, Radix Trichosanthis, and Lablab Bean to nourish yin and clear away heat; while uses Honeysuckle, Wild Chrysanthemum, Taraxacum Officinale, Viola yedoensis, and Glechoma longituba to clear away heat, detoxify, and disperse nodules. If the hemoptysis does not stop, add raw rehmannia, white imperata root, cranesbill, madder root, and panax notoginseng to cool the blood and stop bleeding; if the stool is dry and hard, add trichosanthes and peach kernel to moisten the dryness and promote bowel movements; if low-grade fever and night sweats are present, add Radix Rehmanniae, Pleurotus eryngii, and Schisandra chinensis to nourish yin, clear heat, and restrain sweat.

4. Lung cancer - deficiency of both Qi and Yin
