It is a colorless aqueous solution or gas with a pungent odor. It is easily soluble in water and ether, the highest concentration of aqueous solution can reach 55%, pH value: 2.8~4.0. It can be miscible with organic solvents such as water, ethanol, acetone, etc. in any proportion.

What to use to wipe furniture to remove formaldehyde

1. Formaldehyde is soluble in water. You can put two basins of cold salt water in the room, and the paint smell will be removed in one to two days.

2. Soak the onion in a basin to remove the odor left by paint or other decorations;

3. Cut the pineapple into pieces and place a few in each room. Put more in a large room.

4. Dilute an appropriate amount of vinegar in a small basin, place it in a ventilated room, and open the furniture door;

5. You can soak cotton balls with citric acid and hang them indoors and inside wooden furniture to quickly remove the residual paint smell;

6. Placing orange peels, lemon peels and other items in the room is also a very effective way to remove formaldehyde;
