Will the pharyngeal follicles disappear automatically?

Will the pharyngeal follicles disappear automatically?

In daily life, throat follicles are a relatively common throat disease. It is generally caused by inflammation of the human body's lymph. The appearance of throat follicles will not only cause throat pain, but also easily cause swelling in the throat area, affecting normal eating. Throat follicles will not disappear on their own and require medication for treatment, or drinking more water.

Will throat bleb disappear on its own ?

Throat follicles will not disappear on their own. Drink more water and eat a light diet.

Lymph follicles are the lymphatic tissues of the human body. The tonsils and adenoma in the pharynx are all lymphoid tissues. Under normal circumstances, lymphoid follicles are not obvious, but when there is chronic inflammation in the pharynx, they proliferate and hypertrophy. This is what we often call lymphoid follicle hyperplasia in clinical practice. Lymph follicular hyperplasia itself is not a disease, but a protective response of lymphatic tissue to inflammation, which is the same as the swelling of inguinal lymph nodes when there is inflammation or infection in the lower limbs.

The dangers of throat follicles

1. Inflammation of the throat causes coughing, wheezing, etc., which in turn leads to many respiratory diseases.

2. Swelling of the throat will affect swallowing of food. Inflammation or other lesions in the throat stimulate the nerves that control the esophagus, causing diaphragm spasm, and symptoms such as hiccups and a fullness under the heart.

3. There are endocrine organs such as thyroid gland, parathyroid gland, submandibular gland, parotid gland, etc. around the neck and throat. When there is inflammation or other lesions in the neck and throat, it is easy to spread to these endocrine organs through the branches of lymphatic vessels, causing corresponding endocrine organ lesions, endocrine disorders, and corresponding diseases. For example, upper respiratory tract infection may be complicated by mumps, thyroiditis, etc.

4. Inflammation of the throat can activate the body's immune system to attack invading bacteria and viruses and protect normal tissues. However, because throat irritants vary in strength and duration, these immune responses are sometimes insufficient and sometimes too strong. Insufficiency means low immunity, and excessiveness means enhanced immunity. Whether it is insufficient or excessive, systemic diseases will occur. For example, glomerulonephritis is the result of enhanced immunity to pharyngeal streptococci.

5. The head and body are connected and supported by the cervical vertebrae and muscles of the neck. The rotation of the head is the most frequent and flexible complex joint. Inflammation of the posterior pharyngeal wall can lead to instability of the cervical vertebrae and cervical spondylosis. Cervical spondylosis may be an important cause of hypertension, hypotension and blood pressure fluctuations. Inflammation of the posterior pharyngeal wall can spread to the soft tissue in the cervical spine area, stimulating the cervical sympathetic ganglia and causing dysfunction of the nerves that control the heart and vertebral arteries, resulting in symptoms such as palpitations, dizziness, and insomnia.

6. The foramen rupture emissary vein connects the extracranial pterygoid vein and pharyngeal vein with the intracranial cavernous sinus. The intracranial cavernous sinus is a very important tissue. When chronic inflammation of the pharynx invades the cavernous sinus, it can cause cavernous sinus thrombosis, resulting in symptoms such as fixed eyeball, diplopia, and headache.
