Does the fetal heart rate get slower as the month gets older?

At different stages of pregnancy, the vital signs of the fetus in the belly will be different. In the early stages of pregnancy, especially in the first three months, you usually cannot hear the fetal heartbeat. Under normal circumstances, you can hear the fetal heartbeat when the pregnancy reaches four months. However, the heartbeat is relatively weak at the beginning, so it may not be easy to hear clearly. As the fetus grows larger, the fetal heartbeat will become stronger. So does the larger the fetus, the slower the fetal heartbeat?

Does the fetal heart rate get slower as the month gets older?

During this period, the fetal heart rate should be between 110 and 160. If the fetal heart rate exceeds 160 when the fetus moves, it is normal. It is normal for the fetus to have a fast heart rate at nine weeks.

The results of the doctor's B-ultrasound examination should be posted. Even if the baby is too small, the fetal heart rate will not be so fast. This can only be diagnosed by B-ultrasound.

Generally speaking, you can start counting fetal movements regularly after the 28th week of pregnancy. The method of counting fetal movements is: count once in the morning, noon and evening every day, each time for 1 hour; add up 3 times to 3 hours, then multiply by 4, which is 12 hours. If the fetal movement count is >30 times/12 hours, it is normal; if it is <10 times/12 hours, it indicates fetal hypoxia.

Guidance:

Sometimes, if the fetal movement is not obvious, or the pregnant woman does not pay special attention to it, she will not feel it and mistakenly think that there is no fetal movement. Currently, there are instruments on the market that can help pregnant women count fetal movements, which can assist in counting fetal movements and reduce errors.

A fast fetal heart rate is usually caused by a slight intrauterine hypoxia in the fetus. If it is still within the normal range, it is generally not necessary to do anything but just strengthen the monitoring. However, if it exceeds 180 beats per minute, you should pay attention.

Guidance:

At the same time, if the fetal heart rate is too fast, you should always pay attention to the fetus's movements, because when it is initially deprived of oxygen, its heart rate will beat very fast and its movements will be very obvious.

The normal fetal heart rate should be 120-160 beats/minute. This situation is obviously too fast.

Guidance:

It is recommended to go to a regular hospital for a B-ultrasound to see if the cause of the fetal discomfort can be found. If the fetus moves at the time, there may be a temporary acceleration but it will recover in time.
