Is it good to wear knee pads when running

In life, many people particularly like the sport of running, but there is also a correct running posture. The wrong running posture will not only cause damage to the calf muscles of the athlete, but also easily cause damage to the athlete's knee joints. Especially in winter, when the cold winter wind blows, exercise will cause sweating, which is particularly prone to knee joint injuries. Some people choose to wear knee pads, so is it good to wear knee pads when running?

Wearing knee pads for an 8,000-meter long-distance run is a wrong choice. A large amount of flexion and extension will cause a lot of friction between the knee skin and the knee pads, which may cause new injuries to your knees. So it is not recommended.

If you have an injury (internal injury) or discomfort in your knee, you can use a knee brace while sleeping. Apply some medicine such as activating oil on your knees, put on knee pads, and then go to sleep.

I am a jumping athlete and my knees are often injured. This trick is very useful for internal injuries.

You can also wear it when you are not exercising, and take it off to breathe after a while. The effect is very good.

Remember not to rest when recovering from an acute sprain

Regardless of the type of knee sprain, the initial symptoms may be pain, swelling, and interference with walking and movement. Temporary relief usually occurs after a few days of rest. However, many diseases do not actually recover, they just relieve the pain and swelling.

"If you feel pain or discomfort in your knee joint, take a break and don't exercise for the time being until the pain subsides or disappears. If it is an acute injury such as a ligament injury, then 'it takes 100 days to heal a broken bone', and we still have to follow these rules."

No matter what form of obvious knee sprain occurs, you should go to the hospital to see a professional sports medicine doctor or orthopedic doctor, and seek treatment as soon as possible to avoid delay. Of course, you can do some protective work such as ice application, braking and rest before going to the hospital, which usually helps a lot.

"Regarding the treatment of joint sprains, we used to think that after the injury, you should put on a cast and not stand still or move at all, and you should rest. However, after a long period of practice, it has been proven that moderate activity is better."
