Step 1: Smell the smell. Natural latex pillows have a faint balloon smell, which is the smell of natural rubber.

Synthetic taste

Synthetic latex has a strong odor because it is a chemical product, so flavors are often added. It often has a strong milky flavor (containing formaldehyde) and no rubber smell.

Step 2: Check the air circulation. Blow air into the pillow to see if the air can circulate smoothly. Because there are too many synthetic rubber components, the air is not easy to circulate. Such a pillow does not have the effect of perspiration and ventilation.

The third step is to look at the toughness. For a high-quality natural latex pillow, for example, if you buy one with particles, you can lift up the head of a particle and do a slight pulling movement to bear the weight of the entire pillow. Chemical latex and synthetic latex products: the surface is shiny, tight, and very smooth, with very few oxidation holes, and each grain and protrusion is full without any defects.
