There is a small hard lump next to the genitals

Everyone knows that the genitals are located in a relatively hidden area, and when the weather is hot, they are basically covered. This will cause a lot of bacteria to grow, which in turn will lead to the occurrence of some diseases. Because people are ashamed to talk about genital diseases, they can only judge by themselves. Today, I want to popularize the genital disease that there are lumps next to the genitals, so that you can judge by yourself when you encounter problems. So what's the matter with that small hard lump next to the genitals?

1. Soft tissue hyperplasia

Soft tissue hyperplasia is medically known as soft tissue giant cell tumor, also known as tenosynovial cell tumor. A tumor arising in soft tissue characterized by the formation of multinucleated giant cells. Depending on the amount of fibroblasts and multinucleated giant cells in the tumor and the presence or absence of lipids and hemosiderin, its tissue structure can be divided into many types. It often occurs in the hands and feet. It usually invades the joint capsule and tendon sheath, forming a localized tumor. Sometimes it can spread widely and resemble granulation tissue.

2. Lymphadenitis

Lymphadenitis is a nonspecific inflammation caused by acute or chronic inflammation of the drainage area of the lymph nodes. For example, infection of the upper limbs, breasts, chest wall, back and abdominal wall above the navel causes axillary lymphadenitis; infection of the lower limbs, abdominal wall below the navel, perineum and buttocks can cause inguinal lymphadenitis; infection of the head, face, mouth, neck and shoulders causes submandibular and cervical lymphadenitis. Depending on the onset and duration of the disease, lymphadenitis can be divided into acute and chronic lymphadenitis.

3. Inflammation of hair follicles

It initially appears as a red, solid papule consistent with the opening of the hair follicle, or it starts with follicular impetigo, and then rapidly develops into a papule-pustule, with the hair running through the middle and redness and inflammation all around, followed by drying and scabbing. It heals after about a week of scab falling off, but there are also cases of recurrence and no healing for many years. Some may also develop into deep infection, forming furuncles, carbuncles, etc., which generally do not leave scars. The number of rashes is large, isolated and scattered, and the patient feels mild pain. In adults, it mainly occurs in hairy areas, and in children, it is more common on the head. The rashes can sometimes merge with each other, and small bald spots may remain after healing.
