What to do if your hair is unruly and frizzy?

Black and shiny hair is very popular among everyone, but some people's hair is relatively dry and frizzy, and it is difficult to take care of it. In fact, there are many reasons for this phenomenon, such as malnutrition, weather changes, etc. The main reason may be that some people do not take correct details in their daily hair care. What should I do if my hair is dry and frizzy?

What to do if your hair is messy?

1. Water temperature affects gloss

When shampooing your hair, the water temperature should not exceed 40 degrees. Too hot water will cause the scaly surface of the hair to expand, causing tangles and dull color. It is recommended to clean with warm water, which can lock the scaly surface and keep the hair shiny. At the same time, massage your hair for a little longer to stimulate blood circulation in the scalp and help the hair roots absorb nutrients.

2. Carefully select shampoo ingredients

It is recommended to use a shampoo containing amino acid ingredients. Do not use shampoos with strong degreasing properties, strong alkaline properties, or those containing chemical foaming agents, as their strong cleaning ability can easily dry out the hair and scalp, causing dandruff or itching.

Many shampoos and conditioners contain fragrances, dyes or preservatives. Among them, MI and MCI have been pointed out as one of the causes of eczema in recent years. These ingredients may cause skin allergies and should be chosen with caution.

3. Anti-static hair conditioner

Conditioner reduces the electric charge of hair fibers and lowers their resistance, forming an anti-static moisturizing protective film that prevents moisture and nutrients from being lost, making the hair soft and smooth.

After applying conditioner, it is best to leave it on for at least 1 minute to allow the nutrients to truly moisturize your hair. Then rinse your hair with cold water to make it more shiny.

When using conditioner, try not to let it come into contact with your scalp and be sure to rinse it thoroughly, otherwise the ingredients in it will clog the hair follicles, leading to increased dandruff, and causing fat particles or hair loss on the scalp.

4. Strengthen the no-wash repair

Applying a leave-in conditioner before bed can repair dry, damaged hair. It is best to do this two to three times a week. For deep moisturizing, people with long hair are advised to use a moisturizing hair mask twice a week.

If you are a hair-drying type, hair essence oil can also quickly smooth out frizz and can be sprayed on the ends and tips of your hair to moisturize it.
