My knee was hit for a long time and it still hurts

The knees are very important joints in our body. We should pay attention to protecting our knees in daily life. We should not over-exert ourselves when walking or exercising. When we feel discomfort in our knees, we should rest in time. If your knee is hit accidentally, you need to rest well. In such a situation, the knee is prone to traumatic synovitis, which will affect the normal movement of the knee.

1. Press six acupoints

Stand or sit flat on the bed, with your legs flat or with your knees naturally bent. Rub your hands together to warm them up, and use your thumbs to press the six acupoints on the legs affected by synovitis, starting with light pressure and gradually increasing the pressure until you feel numbness and pain at the corresponding acupoints. The order of the 6 acupoints is as follows: Huantiao, Futu, Fengshi, Xiyan, Weizhong, and Xuehai. Press each acupoint for 2 minutes.

2. Push and press the thighs

Sit flat on the bed with your legs flat or bent naturally. Rub your hands together to warm them up, lay the leg with synovitis flat, and slowly push and press from the base of the thigh toward the knee with both hands, starting with light force and gradually increasing the force. When doing this step, concentrate your mind on the area where your hands are pushing, and use your mind and blood to push your qi and blood toward the knee area. Push and press for 3 minutes.

3. Press your knees

Sit flat on the bed with the affected leg flat or bent naturally. Rub your hands together to warm them up, and press the affected knee with both hands: first press your left hand on the left side of the knee and your right hand on the right side of the knee for 1 minute, then press up and down with one hand on the upper part of the knee and the other hand on the lower part of the knee for 1 minute, then press the knee joints in all directions and use the palms of both hands to rub the knees from all angles until the knees become hot for 2 minutes. When doing this step, focus your mind on the area where your hands and knees touch. Note: When pressing, use the palm of your hand to apply force, similar to the force of kneading dough.

4. Foot and leg guidance

Sit flat on the bed. Take the left leg suffering from knee synovitis as an example: the first step is to bend the left knee, hold the toes with the left hand, and the heel with the right hand; the second step is to pull the toes to the left with the left hand, and the heel to the right with the right hand, and pull slowly until it can't move. The force should be gentle, and exhale at the same time; the third step is to still hold the toes and heels with both hands, and slowly pull the foot back to its natural position, and inhale at the same time.
