What to do if you are stung by a porcupine

The wavy hairy beetle has wings when it stings, but it will not fly too high. It can only stay close to people's clothes and skin. It is a soft-bodied insect, but it is difficult to eradicate and is likely to continue to reproduce, so it can only be removed by sticking tape or burning. And be careful, if you are accidentally injured, you must learn how to clean the wound.

Features/Wave Hair

The adult body length is 13-18mm, with a wingspan of 2.8-3.9cm. The body is dark gray-brown, with darker ventral surface and legs. The antennae of females are filamentous with more than 10 segments at the base that are pectinate, and those of males are feathery. The forewings are gray-brown with a slight purple tint, with an obvious dark brown oblique line on the outside of the middle cell, sloping from the top corner of the front edge to the middle of the rear edge; there is a black spot on the upper corner of the middle cell, which is more obvious in male moths. Hind wings dark grey-brown. The egg is flat and oval, 1.1mm long, light yellow-green at first and then gray-brown. The larvae are 21-26mm long, flat and oval in shape, with a slightly raised back like a turtle's back, green or yellow-green in color, a white dorsal line and blue edges; there are 10 tumor-like protrusions on each side of the body edge, with spines on them, 2 small clusters of spines on the back of each segment, and a red dot on each side of the back of the 4th segment. The pupa is 10 to 15 mm long, with a larger front end.

Nearly oval in shape, milky white at first, turning yellowish brown when about to emerge. The cocoon is 1.2-1.6cm long, oval and dark brown.

Solution/wave hair

The first

I usually use fire to burn it, stick it with adhesive tape, but it doesn't work, the more I do it, the more painful it becomes!

We have a kind of medicine in my hometown that can instantly relieve pain when applied. It works immediately. It’s really no exaggeration!! The philosopher was in a lot of pain!

The second

(1) Dig out insect cocoons in the soil around the tree base to reduce the insect source. (2) During the peak period of larvae, spray 80% dichlorvos EC at 1200 times dilution, 50% phoxim EC at 1000 times dilution, 50% malathion EC at 1000 times dilution, 25% phosmet EC at 1000 times dilution, 25% acetoxynil EC at 1500 times dilution, or 5% levofloxacin EC at 3000 times dilution.
