The effect of moxibustion

The effect of moxibustion

Moxibustion is a very traditional but very effective method. Different people have different symptoms, so different moxibustion methods are used. People usually like to apply moxibustion on the navel, which can effectively treat stomach pain. But it is best not to place it directly on the belly button. You can use something to separate it to avoid the temperature being too high. Temperature can fully open the acupuncture points and meridians, thereby reducing physical pain.

It has been used clinically for thousands of years. Typical ones include "refining the navel" or "steaming the navel". According to legend, it was invented by Peng Zu in prehistoric times. The ancient system of moxibustion was to grind pure natural and precious Chinese medicinal materials into powder, place it on the navel or related acupuncture points, surround it with flour to prevent air leakage, place locust bark with small holes or ginger slices on it, then place 9-12 moxa sticks the size of a date pit on the locust bark or ginger slices, and ignite them for moxibustion. It usually takes hundreds or even thousands of people and takes 3-6 hours.

For the purpose of strengthening health and anti-aging, moxibustion must be performed all year round and persistently, so it is called "refining the navel" or "steaming the navel". According to legend, Peng Zu, who invented the method of "refining the navel", and Sun Simiao, who further developed the method of "steaming the navel", both lived to be over 100 years old and passed away at the age of natural death. Sun Simiao's "Qian Jin Yi Fang" was completed after he was 100 years old. This shows that he had a quick mind and was still strong even in his old age.

It has a significant regulatory effect on the functions of the human body's nervous, endocrine immune, digestive, respiratory, circulatory, urinary and reproductive systems. The Shenque version of warm moxibustion is through moxibustion through objects. Moxibustion through objects can dredge the acupoints through continuous warm moxibustion.

Mechanism of action:

The clinical application of moxibustion has a history of thousands of years. Modern scientific experiments have confirmed that moxibustion has a significant regulatory effect on the functions of the human body's nervous, endocrine immune, digestive, respiratory, circulatory, urinary and reproductive systems.

Through continuous warming of acupoints, moxibustion can dredge blocked meridians, Qi and blood, and invigorate low or declining functions. Balancing the imbalanced yin and yang can help the human body eliminate illness, restore health and delay aging.

Open the packaging bag, take out the moxibustion stick, tear off the protective paper on both sides, and stick the moxibustion stick on the relevant acupuncture points of the human body. For those who are allergic to adhesive tape, you can aim the front of the moxibustion stick at the acupoint and then stick it on your tights.
