How to remove rust stains?

Now that people's material life has improved, everyone has a lot of clothes. Some clothes may not be worn for a long time, and may not even be worn for a year or two. When clothes that have been stored for a long time are taken out, rust stains are often found on the clothes. So how to remove these very annoying rust stains?

How to remove rust stains?

1. Use fine sandpaper to hit it. If it still doesn’t work, you can apply vinegar to the rusted area, apply it several times, wipe it clean, and then use fine sandpaper to hit it again.

2. Method 1: (Pickling) 1. Use 15% acetic acid solution (15% tartaric acid solution) to wipe the stains, or soak the stained part in the solution, and then rinse with clean water after a few hours. 2. Moisten the stained area with 10% citric acid solution, then soak it in concentrated salt water, and wash and rinse the next day.

3. You can use 2% oxalic acid solution in warm water to scrub it off, and then wash the clothes thoroughly with clean water to prevent oxalic acid from corroding the clothes.

Method 2: Soak the clothes first, then grind 3-4 vitamin C tablets into powder and sprinkle it on the rusted areas. Soak for 60 minutes and then wash off. (It should be the reducing property of vitamin C. I have almost forgotten the junior high school chemistry.)

Method three: First soak the rusty area with boiling water, apply sour milk, then apply soap, and then wash it clean.

It is recommended to grind off the rust first, using sandpaper or wire brush, and then paint with canned paint that has been prepared directly. If there are places that cannot be rubbed, you can wipe them with cotton dipped in engine oil. It is recommended to protect the bicycle from being exposed to rain all the time. No metal product can maintain its luster after being exposed to rain for a long time.

A 2% oxalic acid solution can be used at 50? Wash it in warm water for about 2 minutes, then rinse it with clean water. Or you can grind 3 to 4 vitamin C tablets into powder, sprinkle it on the wet clothes, and then scrub them with water several times to remove rust stains.

Squeeze the juice of fresh lemon, drop it on the rust, and rub it with your hands until the rust stains are removed. Alternatively, moisten the stained area with 10% citric acid solution or 10% oxalic acid solution, then soak it in concentrated salt water and wash it the next day.
