Bile polyps are also called gallbladder polyps, which are medically known as gallbladder polyps. In the past, technology was limited, but now with the widespread use of B-ultrasound technology, more and more gallbladder polyps are being discovered. Gallbladder polyps are usually treated surgically; if left unchecked, they may become malignant. Therefore, we must first have a comprehensive understanding of this disease and respond correctly. So, what is bile absorption disease? Let’s take a look below. Disease Type In clinical practice, gallbladder polyps can generally be divided into the following types according to their nature: (1) Cholesterol polyp: This type of polyp is the most common, but it is not a true polyp. Instead, it is a mulberry-shaped change formed by the crystals of cholesterol in bile gathering together, and its diameter is mostly less than 1 cm. (ii) Hyperplastic polyps: This type of polyp is second only to cholesterol polyps and is more common in middle-aged women. 60% of patients will have gallstones. It is a proliferative change of the gallbladder. Its diameter is mostly 0.2-0.5 cm. (III) Inflammatory polyps: This type of polyps is formed on the basis of chronic cholecystitis or gallstones. Their diameter is usually less than 1 cm. (IV) Adenomatous polyps: This type of polyp is a true polyp and may be combined with chronic cholecystitis and gallstones. It is more common in the elderly, and its diameter is mostly 0.2-2 cm. Clinically, adenomatous polyps may undergo bleeding and necrotic changes, and some may even evolve into papillary adenocarcinomas. (V) Lymphoid polyps: This type of polyp is relatively rare and usually presents changes of lymphatic tissue hyperplasia. Its diameter is usually 0.1-0.3 cm. 40% of patients with bile polyps have no obvious symptoms. They are hidden and rarely discovered until ultrasound examination. They radiate to the right shoulder and right back. They often have symptoms of indigestion such as diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and aversion to oil. A very small number of patients have fever and jaundice. The main sign is obvious tenderness in the right upper abdominal area. The main effects on the human body are abnormalities of the digestive system and liver function, and 8-15% of patients may develop cancer. Precautions 1. Pay attention to food hygiene and be sure to wash raw fruits and vegetables to prevent ingestion of roundworm eggs. 2. Eat more foods containing vitamin A, such as green vegetables, carrots, tomatoes, Chinese cabbage, spinach, leeks, corn, radishes, etc. Eat more fruits, such as oranges, apples, bananas, etc. 3. It is important to emphasize that meals should be cooked with vegetable oil, mainly by stewing, braising and steaming. 4. You should eat some protein foods such as lean meat, chicken, fish (except eel) and bean products, but be careful to eat in moderation and not in excess. Nutrition and appropriately limit the amount of fat and cholesterol in your diet. |
