Depression and melancholy

Depression and melancholy seem to be quite similar. First of all, these two diseases are caused by the failure to relieve emotions and stress, which will cause the patient to be unhappy and dull. It is recommended that the patient should go out for a trip to relax, communicate more with friends, etc. to avoid thoughts of suicide. Depression is caused by the inability to release emotions, while melancholy is mainly due to personality reasons.

Depression is mostly manifested as inner depression, feeling unhappy and depressed all day long, and being unable to be happy no matter what. If it is relatively mild, it can mostly be cured through counseling by a psychologist. Relax more and put less pressure on yourself, travel around to relax, and breathe some fresh air. The disease is likely to be cured;

However, depression is more serious. Depression, also widely known as depressive disorder, is a typical mental illness. The clinical manifestations of patients are mostly depressed mood, low spirits, pessimism and world-weariness, and they often have suicidal thoughts. In severe cases, symptoms such as hallucinations and delusions may occur, and the mental state is very pessimistic. Many patients who commit suicide suffer from severe depression. Moreover, depression is likely to recur after treatment. Unlike depression, depression is not just a state of decadence, but is also accompanied by intermittent manic symptoms. This recurring situation causes great psychological harm to the patient and the treatment time is quite long. The disease may not be cured through both psychological and drug treatment, which is a great torture for the patient.

In fact, in contemporary society, the competitive pressure is enormous. Due to personality reasons or improper coping methods, everyone has some mental illness to a greater or lesser extent. The more afraid you are, the more psychological pressure you will have, which will make your condition worse. Give yourself more relaxation in life. In fact, mental illness is not scary. Relax yourself, be more tolerant of yourself and life, and everyone will be healthy.
