What should I do if my eyelids are allergic, itchy and flaky? Still a little swollen?

Once the seasons change or spring comes, many people will suffer from allergic symptoms, especially the skin around the eyes, which is more fragile. The slightest contact with dust or allergenic objects will cause redness, swelling, itching, and peeling. Sometimes the more you scratch, the more itchy it becomes, and ordinary medicines are not able to achieve the desired effect. This makes allergic patients particularly painful, and they cannot touch the eyes or be cured. What should we do with this allergic symptom?

Simple itchy and flaky eyelids are not a common allergy, but are more likely to be neurodermatitis. Most people don’t know this, but it is a very common skin disease in dermatology.

Neurodermatitis is caused by autonomic nervous system dysfunction, which leads to increased skin sensitivity and is related to external irritants. Therefore, people with neurodermatitis should avoid friction and scratching, otherwise it will become worse.

The root causes of periocular neurodermatitis are stress, insomnia, stomach problems, etc. Among them, stomach problems are the most important. Of course, some people have no symptoms of stomach problems, but they can be checked in the hospital or by changes in the tongue coating. Therefore, treatment must take stomach problems into consideration.

For eyelid allergy, itching and peeling, do not apply ointments randomly, because general topical ointments contain hormones and are prohibited for use on the face, otherwise there will be very serious consequences; the author generally recommends using cyproheptadine hydrochloride cream, which is a very common drug and does not contain hormones;

For oral medication, you can take Baixuan Xiatare Tablets, which are effective for some people. However, for those with serious conditions, it is best to go to the dermatology department of the hospital to get Chinese medicine.

For patients with serious illness or obvious gastric symptoms, some medicine for treating gastric disease must be prescribed at the same time, such as Guipi Pills.

Treatment time: The general treatment time for allergies is one week; while the treatment time for neurodermatitis is generally required to be more than 20 days, because human nerve regulation is generally based on a 20-day cycle; if the time is shorter than this, the symptoms can be alleviated, but it is easy to relapse;
