There are many diseases in the human body, and these diseases will cause many parasites. There are many types of parasites in the human body, and most of them can be infected. Hydatid disease is a disease caused by parasites. The parasite here is the hydatid cyst. Once some abnormal conditions occur in the human body, it is necessary to seek treatment in time. There are many reasons for the occurrence of hydatid disease. So how is hydatid disease caused? Hepatic echinococcosis is a common parasite in pastoral areas, also known as hepatic echinococcosis. In China, it is mainly popular in provinces and regions with developed animal husbandry, such as Xinjiang, Qinghai, Ningxia, Gansu, Inner Mongolia and Tibet. Cause of the disease: Canine red worms parasitize in the small intestine of dogs. The eggs excreted with feces often adhere to the hair of dogs and sheep. People become infected after swallowing food contaminated by the eggs. The larvae shed their shells after being acted upon by the digestive juices in the intestines, pass through the intestinal mucosa, and enter the portal vein system, where most of them are retained in the liver. After 3 weeks in the body, the larvae develop into hydatid cysts. Hydatid cysts gradually grow larger in the liver, causing compression symptoms in adjacent organs depending on their location, and may also cause complications such as infection, rupture and dissemination, and obstruction of hollow organs. The main cause of human infection with echinococcosis is contact with dogs, or accidentally ingesting worm eggs when handling dog, wolf, or fox skins. The eggs hatch in the human stomach and duodenum, releasing six oncospheres. These larvae travel through the portal vein to the liver, causing hepatic echinococcosis. Surgery remains the main treatment method. The principle of surgery is to clear the internal cyst, prevent the cyst fluid from overflowing, eliminate the residual cavity of the external cyst, and prevent infection. The specific surgical method depends on the size of the cyst and the presence or absence of bile fistula, infection, or calcification. 100 mg of hydrocortisone can be dripped intravenously before the operation to prevent the cyst fluid from bursting into the abdominal cavity during the operation and causing anaphylactic shock. The surgical method should be determined based on whether there is a concurrent infection. To prevent echinococcosis, extensive publicity should be carried out in livestock areas; wild dogs should be eliminated, management of domestic dogs should be strengthened, and children should not play with dogs; pastures, feed, and water sources should be prevented from being contaminated by dog feces, sheep should be prevented from being infected, slaughter management should be strengthened, and carcasses of sick sheep should be buried deeply or burned. Pay attention to personal hygiene; protect water sources and maintain good environmental hygiene. |
