1. The role and use of dimethyl silicone oil

1. It is used in various cosmetic formulas such as skin care creams, shower gels, shampoos, etc. in the daily chemical industry, and has excellent softening effect and silky feel.

2. Rubber, plastic, latex, polyurethane, light industry and other industries: used as release agent, isolation agent and brightener in the production of certain rubber, plastic, latex, polyurethane products and handicrafts.

3. It is used as high-grade lubricant, liquid spring, cutting fluid, buffer oil, transformer oil, high and low temperature brake oil, brake oil, instrument shock absorber oil, frame modeling release agent, etc. in machinery, automobile, instrument, electronic appliance and other industries.

This product is a new type of colorless and transparent synthetic polymer material with a variety of viscosities (5cps to 5 million cps), ranging from extremely easy-flowing liquids to thick semi-solids. This product has special smoothness, softness, hydrophobicity, good chemical stability, excellent electrical insulation and high and low temperature resistance. It has a high flash point and a low freezing point, and can be used for a long time at -50℃ to +200℃. It has a small viscosity-temperature coefficient, a large compressibility, low surface tension, good hydrophobicity and moisture resistance, and a small specific thermal conductivity.

3. Notes

It tends to degrade and volatilize when in contact with high concentrations of strong acids or strong bases and Lewis acids. The higher the temperature, the more obvious the reaction. When it comes into contact with low concentration strong acid or strong alkali or is exposed to high temperature for a long time, its viscosity tends to increase and even cross-link.
