Vegetables rich in crude fiber

Vegetables rich in crude fiber

You should eat more crude fiber foods on a daily basis. The most common crude fiber foods are vegetables, and crude fiber grains are also popular. Now even many biscuits and snacks are marked as crude fiber. Crude fiber can promote intestinal motility and digestion, while also helping to decompose stool. Various meats, eggs, and dairy products are very good supplements for the body.

What are the crude fiber vegetables?

Cereals: 4-10%, arranged from most to least: wheat grains, barley, corn, buckwheat noodles, coix seeds noodles, sorghum rice, and black rice.

Oatmeal: 8-9%; Oatmeal: 5-6%

The cellulose content of potatoes, sweet potatoes and other tubers is about 3%.

Beans: 6-15%, from most to least, soybeans, green beans, broad beans, kidney beans, peas, black beans, red beans, mung beans

Whether it is cereals, potatoes or beans, generally speaking, the more finely processed they are, the less fiber they contain.

Vegetables: Bamboo shoots have the highest content. The cellulose content of dried bamboo shoots reaches 30-40%, and that of peppers exceeds 40%. Other foods that contain more fiber include: bracken, cauliflower, spinach, pumpkin, cabbage, rapeseed

Fungi (dried): The cellulose content is the highest, among which pine mushrooms have a cellulose content of nearly 50%. Those with more than 30% are arranged from most to least as follows: hair algae, shiitake mushrooms, white fungus, and black fungus. In addition, the cellulose content of laver is also high, reaching 20%.

Nuts: 3-14%. Those with a percentage of more than 10% include black sesame, pine nuts, and almonds; those with a percentage of less than 10% include white sesame, walnuts, hazelnuts, pecans, sunflower seeds, watermelon seeds, and peanut kernels

Fruits: The highest content is in dried red fruits, with a cellulose content of nearly 50%, followed by dried mulberries, cherries, sour dates, black dates, large dates, small dates, pomegranates, apples, and pears.

All kinds of meat, eggs, dairy products, various oils, seafood, alcoholic beverages, and soft drinks do not contain fiber; all kinds of infant foods have very low fiber content.
