If a contact lens wearer experiences a slight dry feeling, photophobia, temporary near vision blur, foreign body sensation, or magnified or reduced vision, these are normal physiological reactions as long as they are not serious and last for a short time. Generally, the symptoms will disappear naturally after a short adaptation period. The specific adaptation period required depends on the quality of the lens and the individual's adaptability, and is generally a few hours to a few days. If the symptoms persist or even worsen after wearing the lenses for a week, the lenses should be removed immediately and the fitter should be consulted.
