What to do if your nose is oily

When summer comes, many friends will have oily noses due to various reasons. Oily nose actually has a lot to do with our skin. So is there any way to reduce the oiliness of the nose? In fact, everyone first needs to understand whether their skin problem is caused by water-oil imbalance or oily skin. Only by knowing the cause can we solve the problem of oily nose fundamentally.

What causes oily nose?

What is the reason for oily nose? I believe many people don’t know the answer to this question. Since we don’t know, let’s take a look at it together.

The nose is often too oily when people have combination skin, with the T-zone being more oily. Coupled with the hot weather, the nose starts to become shiny and oily not long after washing the face.

Normally my nose doesn't produce much oil, but in hot weather the oiliness of the nose and surrounding areas is more noticeable, and there are more acne. By noon, the T-zone looks oily. Overall, the pores are not particularly large, but the area near the nose tends to appear darker. When applying skin care products on hot days, people may unconsciously avoid the T-zone or only apply a small amount.

Therefore, the oil that has been secreted needs to be cleared away to avoid accumulation on the skin, which can cause clogging of pores and adhesion of dust.

Everyone is different when it comes to choosing oil control products for a variety of reasons. Oil-absorbing facial paper is most suitable for first aid, but it is best not to use it more than twice a day, otherwise it will damage the skin itself and cause more oil to be absorbed. It is recommended to use wet cotton pads instead of oil-absorbing paper.

Surface oil-control products can instantly make your skin feel less oily and your pores filled, but like oil-absorbing paper, they can only temporarily solve the problem and cannot improve the condition fundamentally. Long-term use can cause problems such as clogged pores and dry skin.

Deep oil control products are a popular trend, and they mostly use natural ingredients to deeply inhibit oil production, prevent oil secretion, and solve the oil problem from the source.

What to do if your nose is oily

What should you do when your nose is oily? I believe no one wants to have an oily nose, after all, it will affect your image. So we have to deal with it. How to get rid of oily nose?

1. When washing your face, in addition to using facial soap or cleansing milk to achieve the effect of cleaning, you should also use a facial brush to thoroughly remove dirt from the nose.

Use facial soap or cleanser

2. After washing your face, apply soft lotion to the acne-prone areas of the nose and rub them slightly to prevent the occurrence of acne.

3. You can steam your face 1-2 times a week, each time for about 5 minutes. Steaming your face can enlarge the pores of your nose, and the dirt hidden in the pores will flow out. However, after steaming your face, be sure to rinse it with cool water and gently pat your face with your hands to achieve the effect of tightening the skin.

4. After steaming your face, apply a refreshing lotion. Start from the drier cheeks and around the eye circles, and finally apply to the nose tip, forehead and other parts. This will prevent the nose from becoming too oily and causing acne.

5. After using the lotion each time, you must gently pat your nose with an astringent lotion that has anti-inflammatory, moisture-absorbing and oil-absorbing effects.

6. If you want to squeeze acne on the tip of your nose, you should wrap your fingers with cosmetic paper or cotton pad and squeeze them. At the same time, after squeezing, you should dip a cotton pad in lotion and apply it on the affected area to achieve the purpose of anti-inflammatory and analgesic.
