Weak body, sweating and wanting to vomit

In daily life, many people feel weak all over, sweat, and want to vomit. This may be a manifestation of qi deficiency, so if you find similar symptoms, you need to seek medical treatment in time to recover your health as soon as possible. People can eat more foods that replenish qi deficiency, such as japonica rice, chicken, silver carp, mandarin fish, venison, jujube, and yam. They can improve qi deficiency through diet therapy, which is healthy and nutritious.

1. Weakness, sweating and vomiting may be caused by Qi deficiency

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that qi deficiency will cause the muscles of the limbs to lack nourishment, and the whole body will feel tired and weak. Qi is the most basic substance in the human body. It is composed of the essence in the kidneys, the Qi of water and grain absorbed and transported by the spleen and stomach, and the fresh air inhaled by the lungs. From the perspective of internal organs, qi deficiency also includes lung qi deficiency, heart qi deficiency, spleen qi deficiency, and kidney qi deficiency.

People with qi deficiency are not necessarily thin. Many of them are fat, but not solid. Their skin feels very soft, and their muscles are not firm. People often call this kind of fat "pseudo-fat". People with qi deficiency are most afraid of hot summer and cold winter. Because this type of people sweat easily when it's hot, and are afraid of cold and wind when the temperature drops, they are rather delicate. People with qi deficiency should avoid eating foods that damage or consume qi, and should avoid eating raw, cold, greasy, or spicy foods.

2. So, what kind of food is suitable for people with qi deficiency?

Japonica rice is mild in nature, sweet in taste, and can nourish the middle and replenish qi. Meng Shen, the founder of dietotherapy and a famous dietotherapist in the Tang Dynasty, said that japonica rice can "warm the middle and replenish qi." Wang Mengying, a famous doctor in the Qing Dynasty, also praised rice porridge as "ginseng soup for the poor." He said that poor people suffering from deficiency syndrome can use thick rice soup instead of ginseng soup, and those with qi deficiency should eat it regularly.

Chicken is warm in nature and sweet in taste. It has the effects of warming the middle, replenishing qi, nourishing essence and nourishing blood. It is suitable for people suffering from qi deficiency, blood deficiency or kidney deficiency. For people with qi deficiency, there is a custom of stewing old hen with astragalus, which can enhance the qi-replenishing effect.

Silver carp is warm in nature, sweet in taste, and enters the spleen and lungs to replenish Qi. Li Shizhen, a famous pharmacist in the Ming Dynasty, recorded in Compendium of Materia Medica that silver carp has the effect of "warming the middle and replenishing qi". Wang Mengying of the Qing Dynasty also believed that silver carp has the effects of "warming the stomach, replenishing qi, and moisturizing the skin."

Mandarin fish can replenish qi and blood, and benefit the spleen and stomach. As early as the Five Dynasties period, the pharmaceutical work "Rihuazi Bencao" recorded that mandarin fish has the effect of "invigorating qi". The Song Dynasty pharmaceutical work "Kaibao Bencao" records that mandarin fish has the effect of "replenishing qi and strength, making people fat and healthy", and is especially suitable for people with qi deficiency and spleen deficiency.

Venison is mild in nature and has the effects of nourishing the spleen and qi, warming the kidneys and strengthening yang. Deer meat is a good tonic food for newlyweds and elderly people with declining kidney energy. It is also suitable for people who often have cold hands and feet. Deer meat is high in protein, low in fat and low in cholesterol, and has a good regulating effect on the human circulatory system and nervous system. It also has the effects of nourishing the spleen and stomach, nourishing the liver and blood, and strengthening yang and improving essence. It can be used to treat asthenia, emaciation and postpartum agalactia.

Jujube is warm in nature, sweet in taste, and has the effect of invigorating qi and nourishing blood. Doctors of all dynasties have often used it for patients with qi deficiency. Meng Shen of the Tang Dynasty said that jujube can "replenish insufficient energy, nourish the stomach and intestines when cooked and eaten, and is the best for nourishing the body and replenishing energy." Therefore, it is better for people with qi deficiency to cook and eat jujubes.

Yam is a qi-replenishing food. "Compendium of Materia Medica" records that it can "benefit the kidney qi, resolve phlegm and saliva, and moisturize the skin and hair."
