Houttuynia cordata has the effects of clearing heat, detoxifying and promoting diuresis; mint has the effects of dispersing wind-heat and clearing the head; both are leaf-based medicinal materials and can only be dried if you want to prevent them for a long time. Therefore, fresh medicines are more effective than preventive medicines, but they need to be dried in the sun to prevent them from rotting. There is no incompatibility taboo when using Houttuynia cordata and mint together. They can be used together to make a drink in water.
