Why do I blush so often

Why do I blush so often

If you blush frequently, you must pay attention. Some blushing may be caused by illness. Of course, most of them are physiological blushing. For example, you may be shy and often feel shy, etc., which may cause blushing. Of course, some people blush because of drinking. This is often caused by poor liver metabolism. Blushing during menopause is also common. In addition, skin sensitivity and allergic irritation may cause blushing.

Why do you blush often?

1. Physiological blushing. Everyone has different physiques, and some people are particularly prone to blushing. Their cheeks turn red with the slightest movement. This means that your peripheral blood circulation is better. This kind of blushing from the inside out, alternating red and yellow, is the manifestation of sufficient qi and blood, and is a sign of health. Some people blush because of shyness, anger or even nervousness. This is a physiological blush caused by emotional changes. People living in plateaus often have red cheeks because their bodies need more red blood cells to carry oxygen. So, these are all healthy blushes. 2. Blushing after taking medicine does not mean that blushing is unhealthy. It may be caused by other reasons. It depends on personal constitution. Generally, blushing is normal. Some people's faces turn red when their blood pressure rises, and they also turn red when taking antihypertensive drugs. That's because the drug dilates blood vessels and lowers blood pressure while also dilating the capillaries in the face. This blushing is a normal reaction.

3. Drinking too much alcohol can damage the liver, but most people still like to have a drink with a meal, and it is even more indispensable for social events. Some people's face and body skin turns red when they drink alcohol. This is because acetaldehyde produced by alcohol metabolism accumulates in the body. Acetaldehyde is a highly active molecule and is toxic, which can cause damage to liver cells. Therefore, if your face turns red after drinking, whether you are drunk or not, you should not continue drinking. Alcohol is broken down into various substances in the human body by various enzymes. If the body lacks a certain enzyme, it will easily break down and produce acetaldehyde. It will combine with proteins within the cells and affect the functioning of liver cells, thereby stimulating the body's immune response to attack liver cells, causing inflammation of liver cells. 4. It may be menopause. For menopausal women, if symptoms of blushing or hot flashes occur, it means that menopause has arrived. Women in their 40s who are about to enter menopause often experience involuntary blushing and hot flashes, which may be the onset of menopause. Menopausal blushing usually occurs between the ages of 45 and 55. During this period, women will have paroxysmal flushing and hot flashes for a period of time, suddenly feeling hot and sweaty in the chest, neck and face, sometimes accompanied by symptoms such as headache, dizziness, and fatigue. There may also be fluctuations in blood pressure, which may return to normal after a few hours. Menopause is a transitional period of endocrine changes. These uncomfortable symptoms occur due to the decrease in blood calcium and estrogen levels. If the condition is serious, you may want to see a doctor and take estrogen supplements or other treatments under the doctor's guidance to relieve the symptoms.

5. Be careful about high blood pressure. People with high blood pressure may also have abnormal blushing. Some hypertensive patients often have red faces. This is because their hearts are enlarged, their myocardial hypertrophy is increased, and their myocardial contractility increases, which can cause the blood vessels in the head and face to dilate and become congested, leading to a red face. The prevalence of hypertension is high, but the symptoms are not obvious. It is not easy for patients to judge whether they have hypertension based on symptoms. Because the symptoms are not obvious, 40% of patients are unaware of it. So, when your face starts to look rosy, don't think it means you are in good health. You should measure your blood pressure right away. 6. Physical weakness and hyperactivity of liver yang may also cause blushing symptoms. People with yin deficiency have a bright red complexion and are prone to dry mouth, sweating, and athlete's foot. People with yang deficiency will have a light red complexion, cold hands and feet, and often have symptoms of chest tightness, back pain, and floating pulse. The elderly often suddenly blush in the afternoon, which may be caused by hyperactivity of liver yang. I suggest you see a Chinese doctor.
