How to relieve tension

Many people feel nervous when they are taking exams, interviewing, giving lectures, or when there are many people around. How can we relieve this nervousness? You can listen to music or eat candy or chew gum. Eating candy can relieve this nervous mood, and the second thing is to take deep breaths. If it is before an exam, it is best to adjust this nervous mood before entering the examination room.

Ways to relieve tension:

1. Listening to music, whether it is classical, folk or pop music, can help you relieve tension. If you can dance a few steps to the rhythm of the music, you will feel better.

2. Exercise is one of the most effective ways to relax. It is very simple. Just lie on the bed and spend 10 minutes doing some stretching exercises until your limbs feel stretched.

3. Showering or bathing can not only eliminate tension, but also eliminate fatigue. Soak in warm water, close your eyes, and rest quietly for 20 minutes, you will feel your whole body relaxed.

4. If you have flowers at home, you can water them when you are nervous. Appreciating plants can effectively relieve tension, and you can breathe fresh air at the same time.

5. If you are very nervous, you can also write a letter to your good friends or family and write down what you have encountered in the letter. This will not only increase the connection with each other, but also vent your nervousness.

6. Make some of your favorite food. As you go through the process of washing, cutting, seasoning and cooking, your excessive tension will long disappear.

7. When you are nervous, you can also watch funny videos and various interesting TV programs to temporarily relieve your tension through different clips.

8. If you can sing, play the piano, harmonica, violin or other musical instruments, you might as well use them to temporarily deal with your nervousness.

Precautions

When you are under mental stress, you must temporarily forget about unhappy things, divert your attention, and do things that interest you, such as: chatting with friends, shopping in a mall, watching a movie, etc.
