What are the effects of acidic foods on the kidneys?

We eat a lot of food every day to meet the needs of our body, but many times, when I eat, I choose food completely according to my likes and dislikes. Such picky eating often has a lot of impact on the body. As we all know, there are two types of food: acidic and alkaline. No matter which type, eating too much will have an impact on the body. Now let’s talk about the effects of acidic foods on the kidneys.

Acidic foods affect kidneys

1. Eating too much acidic food usually causes symptoms such as irritability, fatigue, bad temper, poor health, and skin aging; if you eat too much acidic food, it will be bad. Because it can lead to hyperlipidemia, obesity, arteriosclerosis, hypertension, coronary heart disease, biliary tract disease (inflammation, stones), diabetes, cerebral hemorrhage, kidney failure, acidosis, etc. These diseases are what people now call "diseases of affluence". Many middle-aged and elderly people suffer from these diseases, so we should strongly encourage them to eat more alkaline foods and less acidic foods.

2. Acidic foods weaken the skin, while alkaline foods make the skin healthy. If you eat too much acidic food, the acidity of your blood will increase, the activity of blood throughout the body will slow down, and you will feel tired.
