Learn the spinal massage method, and you will no longer have pain in your cervical and lumbar spine

Due to the increasing pressure of life and work, cervical and lumbar pain is becoming more and more common among people, and this will directly affect normal life and work, so people are eager to find scientific and effective treatments. Pinching the spine is a massage therapy specifically for treating cervical and lumbar pain. By pinching the Jiaji acupoints next to the spine and opening up the blood and tendons in the neck and waist, it can have a very good effect. Friends in need can try it. Of course, you must first find the acupoints, and then combine them with scientific massage methods. I believe there will be significant results soon.

1. This place is the Jiaji

Jiaji is an extra meridian acupoint created by Hua Tuo, a famous ancient doctor.

Clamp, the relative direction is fixed.

Spine refers to the spinal column.

The Jiaji points are located on both sides of the spine, from the 1st thoracic vertebra to the 5th lumbar vertebra, as if fixing the spine, hence the name Jiaji.

2. Acupuncture point location

The Jiaji acupoint is located in the back and waist, on both sides below the spinous processes of the first thoracic to fifth lumbar vertebrae, 0.5 inches away from the posterior midline, with 17 acupoints on one side.

3. Functions and indications

Treat heart, lung and upper limb diseases.

4. Acupoint matching

Combined with Fengchi, Dazhui and Yanglingquan, it can treat numbness of the limbs.

5. Health care

Hua Tuo's spinal massage is to massage the spine from bottom to top with bare hands. Don't underestimate Hua Tuo's spinal massage, it can harmonize the internal organs, cure all kinds of diseases, especially for local shoulder, neck, back and waist pain.

The Massage Research Institute reminds you: When pinching the spine, be sure to pinch in a straight line. Pinching from top to bottom is a draining method and should be done lightly; pinching from bottom to top is a replenishing method and should be done heavily.

6. Action breakdown and description

1. First, use the thumbs and index fingers of both hands to pinch the subcutaneous tissue on both sides of the lumbar vertebrae (you can also start from the coccyx), with the index and middle fingers leading in front, and the thumbs pressing down and pushing forward, loosening and tightening, pinching regularly from the waist to the shoulders and neck. It is best not to interrupt in the middle, so that the "Qi" can flow up and down without getting stuck somewhere.

2. When you reach the neck, slide your hands down along the spine, guiding the air from top to bottom, and repeat the first step, pinching the spine from the waist or coccyx upwards. Do this at least three times, and then strengthen the affected area locally.

If you control the strength properly, your back will relax after three times and you will feel comfortable all over. Those with more severe symptoms will still feel pain in the back for a few days after the massage, but it will get easier over time, so don’t worry!

3. In case of severe muscle stiffness or blockage, the person being pinched may feel unbearable pain. At this time, the movement can be slowed down or paused for a while (but the fingers should not be released) to allow the other person to take a breath and relax. Also, fingernails should not be too long to avoid scratching the person being pinched.

4. Both adults and children can pinch the area. For babies, it is recommended to use the index and middle fingers to massage along both sides of the spine.

5. There is no fixed time for pinching the spine, but don’t do it lying down right after a meal to avoid gastrointestinal discomfort caused by pressure.

The Jiaji point is a very important acupuncture point on our spine. Today I will introduce to you the "Hua Tuo Spinal Manipulation Method" to regulate the internal organs!
