What are the dangers of tinnitus caused by ear vibration

The ear is one of our five senses. It is relatively sensitive and fragile. When it is stimulated by strong external sounds, it often causes noise-induced ear trauma, which can cause hearing loss and acute hearing damage. This disease often occurs at the scene of explosions, firecrackers, etc. More serious cases can easily lead to perforation of the eardrum, inflammation, otitis media, etc. If the sound is too loud, it may even induce deafness, leading to long-term tinnitus and dizziness, nausea, vomiting, etc.

1. Deafness

Depending on the degree of damage to the auditory organs during the shock, blast-induced tinnitus may cause temporary deafness in mild cases or permanent deafness in severe cases. The recovery time is usually six months from the time the auditory organ is injured. If it does not return to normal within six months, it can basically be determined to be sensorineural or mixed, so the hearing curve is diverse.

2. Tinnitus

The incidence rate is about 50%. The biggest source of pain for patients with blast tinnitus is the persistent or intermittent tinnitus, which makes them unable to get used to the day and sleep at night.

3. Earache

The incidence rate is about 20%. Since patients with blast tinnitus may experience ruptured eardrums when exposed to loud noises, they often experience ear pain.

4. Dizziness

Patients with labyrinthine concussion and labyrinthine hemorrhage may experience vertigo, spontaneous nystagmus and balance disorders; those with cerebral concussion may experience coma, often with sequelae of vertigo, headache and dizziness.

Precautions

1. Try to stay away from noise: explosion and noise environments can easily cause hearing damage. Therefore, patients with blast tinnitus should stay away from noisy areas, or wear earplugs or chew when in noisy areas to reduce pressure in the ears and avoid ear damage;

2. Relax: Although blast tinnitus makes you always sleepless and restless, but depression, irritability, and anxiety make it recover more slowly. Therefore, keeping a relaxed mood and cooperating with medical care can often achieve twice the result with half the effort.

3. Proper diet: Blast-induced tinnitus damages hearing health. Therefore, you can rely on daily diet to regulate it to assist treatment and restore health earlier. Eat more vegetables and fruits every day to supplement vitamins, iron, zinc and other nutrients;
